People are allowed to have different opinions about games, and that "agree or else" mentality needs to die. I loved Ghost personally, solid 9/10 for me and what I enjoy, but I can see why somebody would ding it. It got pretty repetitive in parts.
The fact that people downvoted you explains EVERYTHING about this site. Pachter's only claim to fame is popping up periodically to be startlingly wrong about things.

Since you keep missing the point, he gave it a 1/5. Personally I'd give it a 3/5, and I'd consider a 5/5 to be totally ridiculous... yet many outlets gave it just that with absolutely no justification other than "shiny new fuzzy things so pretty". The story sucked. The worlds were bland. The gadgets were lame. The sub-bosses were all copypasta. There's a myriad of reasons to ding the game especially for those of us that are longtime RaC fans.
So why is...
The vast majority of people on this board admit to either having never played the game or this being one of their first Ratchet games. They have no barometer for what a good RaC game is, and that's why they're willing to praise such blatant mediocrity.

...and how does a 1 being different from a 7 change anything I said? People have massively overinflated scores for this game. A couple scores on the low end and it's freakout time.
There's no way anybody can justifiably give it above a 7/10 either but that hasn't stopped people.

"Agree with the masses OR ELSE." A lot of us older Ratchet fans didn't like the game. Our opinions are just as valid as yours even if you're too fragile to hear them.
Agreed 100% (with the blurb at least) and been saying it since the game came out. Soulless, uncreative, no replayability, and mediocre beyond words; this is one of the worst Ratchet games ever.
Yep. Pretty much stopped playing altogether when I realized they did that. Dumb move.
Well his "revival" of the franchise sucked out loud, so not sure what he expects.
