The majority of comments on the gamesradar page are ridiculous. Yeah, the fog brought the game so much atmosphere. It was so washed out and hazy which is so amazing. Why would anyone want to play it in pristine HD the way the developer initially envisioned it? Idiots.
But by all means, skip the game even though it was Fumito Ueda who basically signed off on everything about the collection.
Next they'll be complaining that SotC runs at a constant, smooth ...
I probably will buy it day 1 like I did with NFS:HP. I played the hell out of that game. Shocking as it is to the majority of "gamers," I play games for the content, not the title on the box. It's so ridiculous to read, "It's not a TRUE NFS game." What exactly is a true NFS game? Cars? Check. Intense races? Check. Great controls? Check. Sounds good to me.
Your loss.
Totally agree. How are consumers getting nickel and dimed? No one is forcing us to buy these collections. Also, the time and resources put into these collections are recouped from game sales. AND the development houses handling most of these collections really aren't good enough to be making big budget titles. They are however competent enough to clean up existing code.
You're not being "rewarded" for anything. Early adopters (a mere 4 months ago I might add) would have paid $80 more for their console and yes Nintendo didn't have to give you anything at all. But don't sit there and say you were "rewarded" with TWENTY FREE GAMES!! They're NES and GBA games that you can download and play on virtually any device with a cpu in it. Even a TI calculator. It's costing Nintendo nothing.
It would have been a be...
Your self-assurance post has 3 mario titles, 2 ps2 ports, and an n64 port. Great list!
He shouldn't have to have watched all the way to the end of that anime arc. The game should do a sufficient job of taking him through the story.
Yeah, I was being sarcastic. Goldeneye sold extremely poorly on the Wii, regardless of the number of Wii's sold.
Yes. Absolutely correct. The name alone will sell the game just like it did on the Wii.
The mocked up version looks stupid.
You should at least care enough to spellcheck if you're going to post, which in effect shows that you do actually care.
You cared enough to read and comment on it. I'd say his job is done.
I'll take 5 for sure.
The difference in read times for bluray and dvds are roughly the same. I'm tired of people just saying bd is slow without knowing the facts. BD has a uniform read spead, no matter where the data is located, ie. on the outside, middle, or towards the centre. It's the same across the disc.
DVDs however vary. Slowest on the outside, faster as you move towards the centre. Averaging it out, the difference in speed is negligible.
And another point is why change an iconic character's appearance? I mean this isn't the second game or even a new IP. There's been 4 games, a manga, and an anime series. He's also appeared in 3 other games. The guy is recognizable and is a brand in and of himself.
The game is going to play like crap for a DMC title. How can I say this when I haven't played it yet? All you have to look at is Ninja Theory's track record. Heavenly Sword and Enslaved had sluggish, unresponsive characters with boring combat. The main reason it's that way is due to their love affair with motion capture. DmC is going to play just like those titles.
@qface64 No you're being an idiot. I'm responding to the moron that said he bought a 3DS for the SOLE reason of playing MML3. Anyone who buys a console for one game is an idiot. Plain and simple, which you obviously are.
I'm going to buy the next box for the SOLE reason of playing Halo 5. Even though it's not being developed by Bungie, it's gotta be good. It's the FIFTH game right? And I don't really need any other information other than the news ...
@Jumper. If you think those games don't look fantastic, you need to get your eyes checked.
Yeah you're totally right. Games like Uncharted 3, Skyrim, Gears of War 3, Mass Effect 3, Dragon's Dogma, The Last Guardian, Ace Combat, Battlefield 3, Kingdoms of Amalur, Hitman Absolution, Bioshock Infinite, all look like utter trash. We shouldn't have to play those disgusting looking games. Bring on the next generation!!
I don't see how a PC emulating the PS2 version of the game would have better textures. Does the emulation process go in and recreate more detailed higher-res textures? No, no it doesn't.
The collection had textures redone so it's pretty ridiculous to say something upres'd on a PC looks better than a redone game in HD on the PS3.
