I've never played any game for 165hrs so that won't be a problem. My boredom will far outpace the game breaking.
My PS3 skyrim save is 11MB and I've had no lag issues. Been playing for 65hrs.
The PSV is already dirt cheap as it is. Remember the rumours of a $400 price-point when the hardware specs were released? Well Sony were good little boys and priced it at $250. Now there's a rumour that digital versions of games are 40% less than retail. Are you seriously going to complain about memory card pricing now? Are you seriously saying they should have added a ton of internal storage and keep the price where it is? Wake UP!!
More powerful hardware is exactly what Nintendo needs to solve their third party woes. They can actually have the big multiplatform titles on their system again. CoD, AC, Batman, EA Sports (in HD not the crap they get now on the wii), Dead Space, GTA, etc...
The main reason 3rd parties shunned the Wii is because their games wouldn't run on it.
Oh so the hardware is flawed. I guess that's why every other game on the PS3 suffers from the same lag problems right? RIGHT? The problem isn't the hardware, it's the developer. I don't know how much education you've received but unless every single game on the PS3 has lag problems, it's not a hardware issue.

This game does look good, but I still feel changing the character was unnecessary. Dante is an iconic character now. Now don't jump down my throat, I'm still buying this game and I'm not saying it's a game breaker...just unnecessary.

If you're genuinely disappointed about a firmware update, you have SERIOUS issues.
Looked like a port with 3D added to me. Doesn't look as good as the PS2 version and clearly not as good as MGS3 HD. I have a 3DS and definitely won't be picking this game up.
Well you're missing out on watching 26 out of 130+ channels on your PS3 that you could be watching on your...TV.
If this new offering meant that xbox owners could pick and choose the channels they want WITHOUT subscribing to Fios TV and inet, it'd be a great deal. It'd still be great if it was just a flat fee for X channels without subscription to TV/inet like netflix. But of course it isn't. It seems like value added, but it's not.

Why do you want them wasting time and other resources remaking a game you've already played? I'd rather they make something new. These recent HD releases are a different story because they're just primarily up-res'd which they clearly can't do with FFVII.

Um, you're all forgetting about DMC1 and DMC3??? DMC3 is probably the best action game on the PS2. Hell, best action game in history.

Bottom line, the PS3 has been outselling the 360 year after year since launch. This is with the PS3 debuting at the ridiculous $600 price point. In terms of total sales per year, the PS3 outstrips the 360. There's no ifs ands or buts about it. PS3 sold more over 5 years than the 360 did over 5 years. The one year lead is the only reason why they're clinging to a marginal lead.
