Based on their overpriced 3ds and crappy non-existent library of games, it looks like the crown is up for grabs.
@BrianG. Not really. The PoP collection and the Tomb Raider trilogy were both $40. Both not published by Sony.
.
I want them to license an engine that will allow full environmental destructability. Imagine, shooting at buildings and having them get damaged, sending an ionic storm into a building and have it cleave in half, do a thunderdrop and create a crater where you fell, do a blast wave on a group of enemies and have them either crash through the walls or embed themselves into them.
It only matters when they're on top. Were you not here when the 3DS was proclaimed to be SUPERIOR to the PSP's graphics? Then the Vita was revealed and graphics don't matter again.
Good list. I'd put Jehuty #1 and also include Cybernator.
Um...this IS testing. It's testing server load, matchmaking, etc...How are they supposed to test something like that effectively from inside their own house?
lol, God of War being published by Sony isn't really the major roadblock. GoW is DEVELOPED by Sony Santa Monica.
They included the chain link fence trophy because they're poking fun at themselves. Cole couldn't climb fences in infamous 1.
2 lego games, nintendogs, ridge racer, and a couple n64 ports. FANTASTIC lineup.
Any Blizzard game says hello. I defy any of you to give me a company that makes better cinemas for their games than Blizzard. Just try.
It may not be a launch title but it's definitely coming to the Vita. MH is Capcom's bread and butter in Japan.
lol, some games. Then it'll be ALL PS4/720 games will be superior to WiiU games.
Whoa whoa whoa. I thought Nintendo handheld boosters thought console games should stay on consoles. I distinctly recall people badmouthing the PSP and the forthcoming Vita for only having console-like games on it which people don't want on the go. And yet, RE for 3DS is being touted as, "It's like playing a console game...on the go!!"
Hypocrisy. Ain't it grand? I'm looking at you IGN editors. Back when the NGP was announced with a trailer reel of con...
So no trophy patch
The point is, it's a new piece of hardware and the only software they have to hang their hats on are ports of n64 titles from 15 years ago. You don't see a problem with that?
Infamous 2 requires a 2GB+ install but the way they did it was smart. It installs a little (maybe 10-15 secnods) and the rest installs in the background as you play the game.
The slick black and white contrasts so beautifully with that disgusting neon green.
Nintendo has perfected the art of capitalizing on nostalgia. "We have a great new system that does 3D and is super powerful!! Go out and pay $250 for it so you can play Zelda, and starfox and mario!!"
*masses buy it in droves*
You guys do realize that Pachter predicted this, "NGP DEAD ON ARRIVAL." Just a scant few months ago.
