You're right. It doesn't matter. It's funny reading about the launch day "race." Even with a year's head start at a much cheaper price-point, PS3/360 are neck and neck 7 years later.

SRIV is completely different than GTAV will be. One is going for over the top craziness while the other is going for realism. As such, the gameplay experience is vastly different.
SRIV has to be one of my favourite games this gen. Sure it's not a looker, but it's extremely fun to play and that's what counts.

The game isn't exactly tearing it up in the visuals department and it's not like it's running complex AI calculations in the background either. Resogun, an indie game, is more visually impressive and has ridiculous physics with 500k voxels acting independently than KI and they're running 1080p/60fps LOCKED.

If you're not uptight and can accept that there can be other open-world games outside of GTA, you'll love it. The addition of super powers, specifically sprinting and jumping, totally makes open-world travel a pleasure instead of a tedious endeavour. I absolutely hate getting into a car and driving to markers on the map, only to clip a cop car and then have them chase me so I have to lose them to start a mission.

You're already paying $100 more vs a PS4. Including a game isn't a big deal, regardless of what that game is. The kinect isn't $100, as that was already revealed by MS execs. so if you get a ps4, a game, and the pseye, that covers $500 right there. same as an xb1, kinect, + free game.

Europe is predominantly "pro-sony" and I think they're smart enough to realize that a going Sony means PS4+FIFA+$40 to spend on something else, vs. an XB1 with free FIFA.
