I actually thought it was asia's version of Facebook for some reason, I was thinking like "how the hell does that help them?"
No, we must be forever locked in an eternal console war.
I'm not really into it, but I understand why other people like it, battle royale games always get super popular and then die out for a while until the next new hotness in the genre.
I find if you good with a mouse and keyboard it translates to reasonably good controller skills, but then it makes controllers feel sluggish to use.
Who knows, with the price of ram being the way it is, it might not get a price drop any time soon, although they probably are overdue.
Did this story change it's title? I swear it was different when I read it on my mobile at work this morning.
To go with my original comment, I imagine it'd go something like this: https://youtu.be/805N7ujRsT...
To be fair I think only one game needed the extra power the new 3ds provided, as for the n64, hardly any games used that too and it wasn't a significant difference or upgrade. A slightly more powerful and a little more efficiency would be good for a new Switch.
@Williamsheridan,
I'm 30, I'd buy only physicals if I could, don't want digital.
They did try improving AI a few times but people got frustrated, hence why AI remains dumb in most games. I believe Uncharted was one game they tried it in where AI will actually use tactics like flanking, players got pissed, so they tried verbal ques, players got pissed, so they dropped it all together. I wish that at least some games implemented smarter AI.
@PrematuaProcrastin8a,
Crossplay is far from the industry standard, only a small number of games have crossplay.
looking at that survey a few days ago that was on N4G, it turns out the majority don't care for it, who would have thought. That and Sony has the majority of the market.
They deserve it *clap clap*.
I like how they keep adding events and changing things up, it really does do wonders for the longevity of the game compared to the likes of PUBG.
I never really used it but was cool none the less.
I'm expecting the Switch to replace the 3DS over the years, could be wrong, but I don't see any reason to have a dedicated handheld instead of the Switch.
I read the article on another site today and it sounds like it didn't commit himself one way or the other, I mean the 3DS is on the way out and I expect the Switch to take it's territory eventually.
Whoa, almost gave them a click there, crisis averted.
To be fair most people are lazy and have short attention spans, at least I'm willing to wait for more information and know it'll be at least another year or two before it releases.
Most of my experiences with VR has been mediocre to kinda crappy, we still don't have any compelling or killer apps for it, the headset isn't as comfortable, but I'd argue it's a cheap way to get into VR (I wish it was more accommodating for those of us with glasses). As far as the market for it goes, I'd say it's pretty stagnant because developers don't know how to make good use of it yet, I could see it going either way, although I'm pretty confident it came ...
