This will never be as awesome as the powerstone series was. That said, capcom you can get working on that powerstone 3 with online play and SFV quality graphics any day now..
THIS^^^ This so much
Im with you on that Lester. And the new NX Zelda that comes out after this cell shaded WiiU afterthought of a game needs to be REALLY immersive and atmospheric. It should have the rich, contrasting, dark tone/visuals of the promised Zelda game tech demo from the Gamecube's reveal: http://m.youtube.com/watch?... not the bland twilight princess gray muddy style that people call "the photorealistic Zelda" lo...
now THIS should be an AO-M rated game. I wouldnt want some deranged kids (or my kid if i ever have any for that matter) to accidently play it in VR like some people are asking for 😧
doom 64 was dank
Here you are again hoping nintendo loses more stock money and brings out another kiddy fuckfest with 10,000 sugary candyland ice cream levels. Youre a big help.
All this talk of 1080p and 60FPS with the same bland graphics. I want Nintendo to pioneer in the immersive 3D game space like they did with the N64. I personally wouldnt mind if they still had 720p resolution in games if they raised the bar for 3D immersion considerably like they did with perspective corrected polygons on the N64 back in 96. They could bring forth near CGI quality graphics if they got their heads back in the game for real this time. We could very well see an NX Mario launch t...
Their new controller will most likely implement 3D AR through the controller's screen. Thats the only way I see it not being completely terrible since they dont want to go full VR because it isnt "social enough" like people have time to play games in the same room anymore. maybe if theyre kids and are really lucky freetime wise.
Another Spaceworld would be EPIC but yeah, those days are long gone:/ so it'll have to be at E3. @bass4g remember the AWESOME non kiddy tech demo for the Legend of Zelda gamecube reimagining we got at spaceworld 2000? http://m.youtube.com/watch?... IDK about the rest of you but it still runs circles around twilight princess and absolutely OBLITERATES wind waker in the immersion/hardcore style departments. The weak LoZ...
If the exclusives go back to being ESSENTIAL and PIONEERING gaming experiences like they were in the N64/GC days then the exclusives will come in droves.
Im just hoping the NX will offer awesomely atmospheric visual fidelity in its games that make non-nintendo gamers take notice like they did back in the N64 days. I remember the huge lines to play the Super Mario 64 demo at blockbuster and every electronics dept. where they had N64 demos. after playing it kids were BEGGING for their parents to get them an N64 RIGHT THAT SECOND, not so with the paper-thin kiddy atmosphere of most WiiU exclusives. If Nintendo gets this right and offers graphical...
I think a Metroid NX game done in a Deferred Rendering Style similar to Killzone 2 would be very atmospheric and Immersive experience even if the rez is capped at 480p/720p(with a much expanded color pallette of course). http://videogamesdaily.com/... Im more concerned if the graphical fidelity of the first party NX software is going to be a step up from current tech rather than just having our ...
Nintendo became the pioneers of atmospheric 3D game presentation in the 90's with the advent of the N64, who says they cant do it again with the NX? It could have innovative graphical features and super/sampling techniques that we have not yet seen on other consoles if the rumors about its power are to be believed. If you look at 1996 Nintendo, their 3D perspective corrected polygons made their games much more immersive than the competition. IDK why but Im expecting a hugely powerful cons...
If it was bringing a whole new class of visual fidelity on consoles like the N64 did, im guessing somewhere around 400$ with the SCDs being like 100-150$. I'll be pretty pissed if the leap in their first party games' visuals is barely better than SM3DWorld/MK8 on WiiU. I fully expect the next metroid game to have insane visuals with some kind of new graphical technique that makes it a cut above current console and PC FPS's kind of like how Killzone2's Deferred Rendering made i...
Recent NX patents show that it will have expandable hardware SCU's (Supplemental Computing Units) that you can purchase separately or take advantage of through the cloud for extra computing power.
I expect Nintendo NX's graphics to be even better than this. They became the pioneers of atmospheric 3D game presentation in the 90's with N64, who says they cant do it again with the NX? It could have innovative graphical features and super/sampling techniques that we have not yet seen on other consoles if the rumors about its power are to be believed. IDK why but Im expecting a hugely powerful console able to drive a 3D Mario launch title that looks like this: 3670d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment
Im speaking for nintendo fans that want a COOL nintendo game with actual atmosphere like Mario64 had, since nintendo is gonna give you more catsuit bullshit if you keep willingly lapping it up at every turn.
I dont enjoy catsuits like the rest of you i guess? what im saying is it would be in nintendos best interest to make a game that people wouldnt have to lie to buy like saying theyre buying it for their nephew or some shit. I want a cool mario64 style experience, mario galaxy is boring. 3D world is just repasted 3DS garbage. since when is porting from mobile to console a good idea?
Im only buying NX if it offers really atmospheric visuals with a respectable leap over current console visual fidelity. Im tired of the paper thin atmosphere and lack of tension in the 3D wii/wiiU games. princess peach running around with you in a catsuit?? shes not kidnapped?
I want the Launch 3D Mario title to be groundbreaking, maybe if Nintendo actually tried this gen Mario could look more like this on the NX:
urban reign, never played that one. Is it as fun as the powerstone series?
