i was always interested in this game, even when it was only on the 360, so i was pumped when i saw that ESRB listing for the PS3 as well.
now that it's "officially" coming to the Playstation 3 at some point, i'm really excited, since i don't have a 360, and won't be picking one up for a while (my budget can only afford games for *ONE system right now, and the PS3 has a bunch of exclusive and multi-plat titles hitting this fall).
of course, *WHEN the Pla...
to ring in the PS3's 1st birthday.
quite a few of those are coming home with me on release day.
i hate the gaming media (actually, the media in general, but gaming media applies to this story).
i really wish they'd just shut their f*cking traps and *STOP with the unnecessary hyping of games.
not every game will be a killer app. some games will just be *GOOD GAMES, but low and behold, the moment a promising title appears on a console (especially the PS3 as of late), people slap it with the "This could be the >insert console here<'s killer app!&quo...
because they're running out of *LEGIT reasons to talk sh*t about the Playstation 3, they sink to reviewing *DEMOS so they have more fuel?
pathetic.
it's a frigging *DEMO for gods sake! how do you judge the worth of a demo? really now!
a demo is a taste of the game to come. if you enjoy the demo, you may get a kick out of the final game.
for example: i played the Dynasty Warriors Gundam Demo. it was ok. i don't plan on buying the game...
god bless the ignore button.
it's been getting quite a workout this week...
ignored.
the game is a solid 8/10; can we stop nitpicking it now?
lovers: enjoy the fact that you actually *OWN a Playstation 3, and will be able to enjoy this game in three short days (i paid for it in full yesterday, so i'm pumped).
dissenters: *GET OVER the fact that the Playstation 3 is, in fact, a games console, and is getting solid, enjoyable games on a near weekly basis; exclusive *AND multi-platform.
bottom line, Heavenly Sword has gotten maybe 3 sc...
what version i buy will depend on one thing, and one thing only:
i only own a Playstation 3.
it's a bit annoying that the media, and gaming press at large tend to assume that every next gen gamer out there owns a 360 and maybe a Playstation 3.
the truth is, there are gamers out there, like me, that only chose to purchase one next gen console, and the fact that a game is multi-platform bares no difference in that instance.
sure, if yo...
i'm picking this baby up asap.
to think, about a month ago, i was complaining about wanting more games, then i pick up Warhawk and Lair last week, and now Heavenly Sword next week (or earlier, if the store across the street breaks street date), and Stranglehold two weeks after that...
the games are beginning to pour in. hopefully my wallet will be able to keep up!
if there were two games that i had to choose to accompany me on a deserted island, Ico and Shadow of the Colossus would be those two.
they already said that one of their *TWO projects for the PS3 would be in the same tone, atmosphere, as Ico and Colossus, and their second game would be something different (maybe a PSN title). i wish i could find the article where they state that.
god, a game like Ico or Colossus, with PS3 graphics? i think i've died and gone to h...
the fact that a few of you guys actually think he's not being facetious disturbs me.
i mean, it wasn't even sarcasm he was using, he was just being silly and absurd. that should have been enough of a giveaway.
jeebus. some people take *EVERYTHING that others say so seriously.
...
your Avatars are priceless.
they gave the kid Resistance: Fall of Man? an "M" Rated game? lmao.
i thought they just made a character of him in Ratchet and Clank Future (he flys around in a hover chair), but i didn't know they gave him Resistance too. wasn't he *ALSO 10 or 12? lol.
the article author *WASN'T talking about X Box Live he was talking about X Box Live *ARCADE!
sheesh. you guys are so damned thin-skinned.
what he was noting (which a lot of the haters in the gaming community and gaming media fail to do), is that, for a company that is *JUST NOW crafting an online gaming and download service, they're doing a pretty damn fine job.
Microsoft has been cultivating Live for over 6 years now (that is to say, that Live has...
thanks to the previous PSP update (3.50, i think), you can access remote play from *ANY hotspot in the world.
if i was on vacation in Japan, and my PS3 was at home in Los Angeles, all i would need was to make sure my PS3 was in remote play mode (with Lair in the drive), before i left, then, once in Japan, find a Wi Fi hotspot, activate remote play on the PSP, and i'm all set.
now what would be *REALLY cool, would be able to turn on and off the PS3 via Wi Fi anywh...
was *MATTY the one that were telling all of us to "lick his balls" in a Warhawk game last week?
i mean, the kid *DID sound like he was 9 or 10.
*edit - on topic - to think, i had to work my @ss off for a month straight in order to scrounge up the extra dough to *BUY my PS3, and this kid gets one for *FREE! just for doing something as little as saving his dads life! i call shenanigans!
by the way, that last paragraph was a joke.
so i can't say which one is better, but i *DO know that i'm pretty satisfied with what the PSN has been offering in it's first 9 months in terms of downloadable titles.
i own
Blast Factor - 6/10 in my opinion
Nucleus - 3/10 - i downloaded it from my roommate
Calling All Cars - 8.5/10 - not enough people play it anymore, though
Piyotama - 9/10 - surprisingly addictive, and disgustingly cute
Mortal Kombat 2 - 7/10 - man, i suck at this game now....
*THAT'S better.
are people talking about Halo 3 and COD4?
this is about *UNREAL TOURNAMENT 3?
i mean, jesus f*cking christ, does *EVERY story that even relates to the Playstation 3 have to degenerate into a fricking pissing contest with you people?
fact: Unreal Tournament is considered one of the best multi-player titles out there.
fact: now, console owners that don't own high end PCs get to enjoy said "best" multi-player title out there. ...
