it really grinds my gears when worthy games get overlooked for mediocre games.
i really like Assassin's Creed, but Uncharted and Ratchet and Clank Future outshine it in *EVERY WAY.
Uncharted and Ratchet are two of the best games i played on the PS3 last year.
the extra controller is a no brainer: there are quite a few PSN games, from Calling All Cars, to flOw, to Warhawk, that support two players, either on the same screen, or via split-screen.

i'm not a big fan of car type racing games, but Burnout Paradise is one of the most amazing games i've ever played. it's awesome.
