'If you look at both the Xbox 360 and PS3, both had pretty much the same amount of "core" exclusives and games in general, only the Xbox 360 had them since the 360's launch and the PS3 did not"
MIcrosoft launching the 360 early meant alot of titles that would've been multiplat were exclusive to 360, plus the ps3 gave alot of developers trouble at first. Microsoft just doesn't make many games. Look at pc, Microsoft does not have any presence at a...
I don't think it was really that big of a deal and fit into the theme of the game. The breasts were probably left untouched because they had to keep them covered. Obviously if the boobs were mangled, the bikini would be gone.
"Now, there are two things that stand out about the statue: the boobs. Notice how despite the body being utterly butchered, complete with a nice, big missing chunk of flesh at the bottom of the ribs, they are intact. They don't even have th...
"The more exciting story was the David and Goliath like tale of the underdog Xbox doing nearly as well as the once mighty Playstation brand"
Microsoft was the richest company in the world when the 360 launched. If not the richest, in the top 3. So it wasn't a "David and Goliath like tale" when Microsoft have too much $ to throw around.
For graphics faster ram is better I think. All high end video cards use GDDR5.
Yea gddr5 does quad data rate. So a 1000mhz GDDR3 chip would be 2000mhz effective speed vs a 1000mhz GDDR5 at 4000mhz data rate.
I think it matters to Microsoft because all they ever talk about is SALES
Microsoft had a 500 million deal with viacom which owns gametrailers, mtv, spike, nickelodeon, comedy central, vh1, etc. "more than 500 branded digital media properties" They also had a big deals with facebook, NBC, dish network, aol, discovery, navic networks (advertising network that works with TWC, cox, charter) So basically they have deals with almost all the tv providers.
Didn't they say they were running it on a pc. Since multiplats can look that good on PC already.
I don't think it's because XBOX is an American console. I think it's because of the BILLIONS of dollars microsoft spends on advertising. (isn't that how the media gets their revenue?)
microsoft needs this to dominate

The 1st 360 models used very low quality components. I've seen a few open after they died (I think they had a 90 day warranty) and they were really cheap looking and used tiny heatsinks (the kind used for the SB on pc motherboards). One of them even had epoxy or something all over the pcb.
I wonder how many exclusives the 360 had because they were the only next gen console out or because developers were having problems with the ps3 at first. If sony launches around the sa...
Microsoft got so much money they could be developing a bunch of AAA games. Instead they just get timed dlc and a bunch of kinect games made by some cellphone game developers and spend billions advertising. Last E3 the only AAA game they had was gears3 that I remember, but they already had shown everything about the game already (it was delayed) and had a big beta. (for people who bought Bulletstorm) I know they get multiplatform games but XBOX users are the only ones that have to pay to play....
Arkham City has a bug with dx11 & physx. I heard if you disable one of them it should help.
Yeah you practically need one since most of the games they release now are XBLA games.
seriously? who cares how much it sells, it looks like the only way to move forward is to slide? (or whatever he's doing) you honestly don't believe that people are just blindly hating on this game do you? just my opinion of course but the game doesn't look very good. animations look robotic and everything is slowed down to compensate for kinect.
If you want to play the games it has, why not? There's no reason to blindly be loyal, they should have to fight for our dollars.
sadly I kinda agree with you. not because it's the same but because it lacks a lot of the depth of the older games. magic is weak and no monster variety. what happened to all the daedra?
ME2 is not an open world game. The mission levels are actually linear.
PC doesn't need blu-ray because basically every game must install to the hard drive which is not limited by size and runs much faster than optical media.
Maybe it will be like GFWL where you need to be logged in to save your game.
