I don't see what is so despicable about a company removing a feature? They are allowed to change what they like, even if you don't. If it matters that much to you, it should teach you not to buy games consoles, and possibly anything else, from Sony.

If it's such a good deal why don't you go out and buy one now and get the free games? Oh yeh, cos it's not worth it. It's a good way of making people think they're not getting shafted when in fact they are.
I can't believe they released this at such a high price! Knocking $80 dollars off so soon means it was grossly overpriced for what they were offering.

RDR was ok, by the end of the game I was sick to death of riding a horse for 5 to 10 minutes at a time with absolutely nothing happening. Good missions and characters though.
A new GTA with less annoying physics i.e. not taking an eternity to get up, a better main character, a new location, and the ability to purchase businesses and safehouses like Vice City would be very welcome to me.

Martyrdom was fine, I almost never got caught by one because I always expected it so got the hell outta there and whenever I used it, I somehow got a kill pretty much every other death. I was disappointed with it's removal in MW2 since it was so easy to avoid yet would strangely always seem to catch people out.
Last stand was far more annoying. Running away from an inanimate grenade is much easier than trying to finish someone off before someone steals the kill.

You're gonna have to give some very good evidence for the assertion that innocent civilians are being specifically targeted because that is a massive claim... bombings of civilians may have happened, most probably by accident, but I don't think it is the normal tactics used.
The occupying forces have no chance of making things better if they don't have the support of the people. Those tactics would not give them that support.

There's a massive difference between turning a gun on almost a hundred innocent youths and having the inevitable innocent deaths as a by-product of war. I hope you can see this difference.
No way, Norway is incredibly liberal. Apparently the guy could only serve 21 years or so under the current legal system. Under the circumstances it'll probably be extended though.
And anyway, mainstream news aren't focusing on the fact he played video games since it is really not important. His political views are far more dangerous than a quick game of CoD.
Very good point you made about Fillion being Mal and Nolan being Nate.
I was one of those hoping Fillion would be cast seeing as his performance in Firefly was so good but thinking about it you are right, and Nolan would be the best to play Drake.
It would be amazing if all three heroes played their counterparts because then the film may actually have some resemblance to the games.
So everyone here criticises CoD for not changing and yet want Mass Effect to stay the same... double standards much?
Games have to change or they grow stale, so fans of the game should be happy it is being tweaked... fans of RPGs will probably be less happy but simply shouldn't buy the game.
It all depends where the stats were obtained, and who from. Listening to radio 1 the other morning I heard a stat about the percentage of people who think no getaway is complete without a 'holiday romance', and guess who they asked? Members of an online dating site... here is an example of skewed results.
They probably asked prospective 3D tv buyers whether they wanted 3D for gaming...
To me it looks like it will play just like CoD games and most other modern shooters. Should withhold judgment until closer to release but the amount of love for BF and hate for CoD around here is extremely disproportionate which is why I am questioning whether the two games are wildly different.
I'm also getting pretty bored of the fps genre recently, which will probably only be cured by bioshock infinite.
I disagree, this could have been posted as MW3 alpha footage and most people here would have been fooled... To say two first person shooters set in modern times are not in the same family is absurd.
