One of the most overrated games I've ever played. Everyone seems to love it, it's a great game but a fair review should really point out that the game is far too short. I also found it to be too easy, think I only got stuck for about 5 - 10 mins on two puzzles...so I would definitely knock off a score or two for these points.
The atmosphere always seems to get lots of praise but it is pretty much non-existent... obviously fitting for the title but I would have liked ...

MP trophies are really annoying... Servers can be closed, communities can die out and you may have a rubbish internet connection. Too many variables.
Plus MP trophies are usually little to do with skill and more:
"Play our game for over 500 hours" - Bronze.
"Be on the winning team in every game mode even though we designed the game so that the players get to decide which team they go in and how long the game lasts so for some reason hosts will ...

Yeh, I guess the 3ds won't drop in price but a Lite version could be released in the near future improving on battery life, 3D viewing angles etc which would mean your purchase was premature if you only want it for what is eventually going to be released in the future.
I disagree with your last point, it's not up to the customer to buy a product on the off chance that 3rd party devs might produce a game that might interest them. If Nintendo can't entice you to buy...

Both. Watered down in comparison to the PC teasers they showed us because the console is being stretched to its limitations.
The differences are too small for me to be interested in either. Main problem is I feel like I've already played them both. Modern FPS games are quickly becoming this gens 'WW2 games'...

I agree, neither. Both too similar to each other and every other FPS game released this gen. Plus BF3 main hype point (the graphics) will be heavily watered down on my ps3 making it look like most other PS3 games.

Activision is doing the right thing in their interests, they did the same with guitar hero. They'll keep doing this until it stops working.
CoD will either go the way of guitar hero, or will keep releasing every year becoming the masses FPS answer to Fifa.

Yeh, this looks much closer to MW2 than to MW. This is over the top, like MW2, CoD4 was very basic compared to this (uav, airstrike, heli, perks and that's it)...
Oh, and why is noone else pointing this out - "Enemy attack dogs near your position, be advised they are carrying explosives" lulz there goes my hopes of MW3 toning things down to be more like MW.
Probably still be lots of fun though, just very unbalanced.

I can understand why the police can't do much. Any heavy handedness and people go crazy. So they either crack down, and get criticised for using too much force, or do as they are and get criticised for losing control...
In saying that, they gave the students more of a beat down a couple months ago compared to these scumbags. Ridiculous.

I've never played a battlefield game, how big are the maps? Bigger than KZ2? If the maps are so big does it not just lend itself to vehicle combat? I would hate to be walking around an online match for 30s or more without seeing anyone. Small maps are good for keeping the action fast and lively.
Well said grailly, best looking game ever is completely subjective, but best graphics can be calculated and is therefore fact, even if we can't work it out.
