Sony is going to have to market the hell out of this game for it to succede on a large scale. Everyone I show the game too likes it though. Who wouldn't want to make your own levels. The create aspect of the game needs to be pushed heavily but, if it is, the game should do fine.
Either way I'm getting it and am going to enjoy it's awesomeness.
That is infact the case. If you include the PS3 the attach rate is 0.6 per player. It's just that when Toshiba wants to talk players in the market, they exclude the PS3 making their #'s look better then Blu.
Reality is that this isn't the case. Some PS3 were bought as Blu-Ray players while some were not. Still even some of those that were bought as gaming consoles will buy BD's. Toshiba totally ignroes this and manipulates their data to include or exclude the PS3 when they se...
better attach rate? Let me guess ... when finding attach rates they incluse the PS3 yet while talking standalone players they exclude it.
Manipulate the #'s all you want Toshiba. You're not fooling anyone and are only prolonging the inevitable.
meaning the attach rate for the two games are almost exact on a percentage basis. Thanks for making yourself look stupid though.
rather the way in which the content was delivered. I didn't expect you to follow that though. lol
the auther may as well ahve said, "The president is unsure about BD/HD-DVD, why would the 300,000,000 Americans be sure too?"
It's not exactly like he's a tech buff and he's mainly involved in a totally unrelated field of media. The only person left on HD-DVD is Gary the Retard.
Zhuk and this author are one and the same. Either that or they both pull their material from a recycled 360 marketing bin.
I know it has the potential to kill me if the prices are out there. I just don't see how one company can do this without risking loosing business to other cheaper providers. If this became a nationwide standard amongst all companies then, we could be talking about a problem. 4+ hours at a time in team death matches might get a little costly. lol
HD-DVD doesn't sell million of players. It has such a low amount of players and studio support that it has no choice but to die out. The PS3 is different. It's sold millions of consoles in it's first year and isn't being beat by a ratio of 85:15 in software.
Don't get me wrong. I'm not a stupid fanboy claiming one consoles death. I think they're all going to be around and be quite successfull for some time to come. HD-DVD on the other hand ...
stock will go down due to this happening? The company might be fine in the long run but, this type of stuff makes investors screwy.
it's the reason this type of argument should never work. If it did then guns cause violence and porn causes rape. It's just complete B$. It's also funny how the media is trying to blow up gaming as a cause to violence when the related incidents are rather sparce. Not to mention the media negates certain other possibilites for causes including f'ed up parents. Or in this situation, NOTHING TO DO! These kids live in New Zealand. Beautiful it may be but, there's nothing to do and as we all know,...
and there was a demo. God saw that the demo was good; and God seperated the full version game into two stories with killer 60 MP online. God called the game resistance 2.
fact that they are at least selling on par with one another is something itself.
My GF hates video games. It sucked. I say sucked because I've somehow got her addicted to Ratchet and Clank. She's playing through now on difficult. This is the next video game that I will be able to enjoy with her. She's stoked, I'm stoked, my friends are stoked, my brother stoked and so is just about everyone else I show this game too.
Thing is though ... they're going to have to market the crap out of it. People need to see what they can do before they want it.
It could look immensely better one one version over the other and I don't think fanboys would be chalking this up as a win. The game is doggy excrement.
They claim that no more then one shooter can survive on the low PS3 userbase. They use poor Orange Box sales to prove this. They totally forgot about UT3 though. There were acutally two shooters doing well at one time. It was the third one that got left out.
UT3 was also available during this time period. There were three shooters and not two. Orange Box, Cod4, UT3.
would get killed by 2:1 or more this Christmas. What happened there?
in all fairness, the general population doesn't really know a damn thing about LBP. For this game to succede on a larger scale, it will have to appeal to the broader audience. Just showing commercials of sack people won't be enough either. They need to push the create aspects of the game.
