HD v. BD. It has everything to do with more movies on BD and more BD players out in the wild ala PS3.
I'll probably still get it even if it isn't a totally open world though. That's how much I love ghostbusters.

I was under the impression that the price drop and new scew went into effect in Europe and not the NPD numbers. Those numbers won't reflect the increase in sales until the November numbers come out since the US price drop kicked into effect on the 2nd.

or XBConnect works as well. I used that for Halo 2 since I never wanted to pay for live. Kinda of a pain sometimes. Both systems are highly dependant on the quality of the server and the person who runs it. Lag can become quite the issue if the host doesn't kick high pingers.
Other then gaming information, all of this is starting to feel extremely lame. The constant arguments over AAA as if that .1 percentage matter on meta critics. The lame flame posts by fanboys of both consoles. The sales figures. The bickering is just becoming sickening. It's clear that not only us internet surfers are showing our crazed bias but, so are the sites that provide us with our fuel (news). This review is garbage. Although I can see this being approved. I was hoping to see something new as well. At least an update on how the game is coming along. Maybe a pic or two. Somthing GG, small or large I don't care, just something.
I'm 27 now. I'll think about kids in abother 3 -5 years. I can tell you this, I'll be taking part in their video games. I think a lof of people from my generation and into the newer ones would feel the same way.
Video games are still relatively new compared to other forms of entertainment such as TV, Movies, Sports etc etc. Once these newer generations of gamers reach the age of having kids, thing will change some.

after playing the demo 10+ times, I'm more excited for this game that any game yet. It's just solid. The animations make everything look so real. People that were over at the house watching me play the demo thought the same thing and they aren't even into video games. The AI isn't easy either. Should be a totally awesome game.
Amen to that. It's funny how they HD-DVD camp plays with their stats. Which is it? Are you not couting PS3's as Blu-Ray players or are you? Are you only counting them as BD players when this works in your favor?
It's only logical that the reason HD is being slammed by BD in total sales numbers is due to the PS3. The reason the attachment rate is low is because not everyone who buys a PS3 uses it for a BD player. I still think it's funny that the HD camp constatnly manipulates t...
I'm mostly stoked on the possibility of DivX compatibility. It's good for anyone having issues too.
