I love all of those movies. I love that this looks like the war is starting to turn in someone favor. Dragging this out any longer just isn't fair to us consumers. I want a unified format NOW damnit. Get a move on Paramount and Universal.
Halo is in Direct competition with the PS3. BD is not in direct comepition with the 360. Letting the 360 have a BD drive would not hurt Sony's sales much if at all. Whatever royalties they get from each BD sold from MS is a nice + too. Sony would let them use BD. They just haven't switched yet because they don't want BD to win. BD winning would make the PS3 even more appealing. It would also make MS's only out, digital downloads, less likely to catch on. It sucks too because they are willing ...
you're one of the few people to have invested in HD-DVD huh?
Wow ... and you have the audacity to call someone a tard. Either way it's cash. Wheater Sony saves money in one area or brings money in another area, it's all the same. Extra dough in the pocket.
Even if people do buy a few less PS3's and go witht he 360, Sony still benifits from this in some way or another. It's a win/win. Plus ... even if they did add Blu-Ray, the 360 plus the player will be more then the PS3. I highly doubt this would detract from sales. Keep dreaming though.
What they should be saying here is, "We're keeping the HD-DVD drive in hopes that it slows down Sony's/BD's snowballing momentum."
depending on how much of a perv you are. Personally, I probably won't be wathcing too much HD pron. Not that I don't want too, mostly that my GF isn't really into the stuff and I live with her.
SUPERSIZE ME BIATCH!
Please ... while some parents probably let their kids play too many video games, I'm sure an equal amount of parent let their kids eat waaay to much sh1t in a box called a "happy meal".
Hey ... how did you know what I was going to make? That made my day.
lmao
and cheap large hardrives/computers connected to their TV's, this won't happen. I don't dislike the idea of digital download, I just think it's a little further off then Mr. Gates would like to say. Honestly, look at the MP3. It's hurt the CD industry but, it hasn't killed it. Songs are a lot easier to download and store too. Let's be honest here. Digital distrubution is a a nice idea and one that I will gladly cling onto. I just don't see it happening for another 10 years.
I wouldn't mind playing this one but, I would rather just wait to pay and play the full version.
I actually don't care. I haven't bought an EA game yet and don't really give a damn.
Yet I still don't see how anyone can arguee or disagree with you here. None of the systems are going anywhere. I have a feeling all three will end out doing rather well. I don't see any real "hugely clear" winner this gen. People need to get off of this whole "failure" kick. It happens on both sides and you're only making yourself look the fool making such claims.
Have fun and game on. I can't wait to get home to play me some COD4.
from people like Mart, POG, Zhuk etc etc that the 360 was going to outsell the PS3 2 or 3 to 1 this holiday season. It's kind of funny tossing back these comments in their face. Honestly, I'm just glad they're starting to put it together. There was a point in time where I questioned the future of the PS3. Now I don't.
I wish people would give up this fanboy crap though. It's not like either system is going anywhere. Both have a good line-up of games. Both have nice features. Ju...
Simply because if MS does impliment BD into their system, then Sony makes money on a market that it normally can't touch. Every xbox with a BD drive sold would also benifit Sony. IT's a win/win for them.
I hope the Blu camp can now pull off some of the other HD supporters. It's going to be interesting to see how companies/studios react to this. This could be the catalyst speeding up the reaction that was inevitable in the first place. I just want BD to win now so I can start getting all sorts of movies. Bring on Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Matrix and soon when Paramount gives, Transformers.
the better. I really hope this ends out helping persuade other companies to go Blu.
release a new system with and HD-DVD player that is also utilized by developers, then they might as well call it the xbox 720. It would totally screw all their current users who DON'T have HDDVD readers in their consoles.
I really hope MS doesn't do this. They are doing just fine without it and don't need it. They don't need to screw their current users. What would be the motive anyway? I thought they didn't care who won the HD formet war.
add a good multiplayer to the next one. Uncharted one is easily the most fun I've had playing a single player shooter in a long long time. IT's just an awesome game. Adding multi would make the replay value shoot through the roof and make the game a 10 in my book.
been there from the start, I don't really think Sony is doing all that bad. If this feature was so VITAL as you like to claim, I think it would have had a more adverse affect on sales.
