I don't know what I'm going to do this year. I want RFOM 2, Motorstorm 2, Killzone 2, LBP, MGS4, FFXIII, GTR 5, GTA and more. It's going to be a freaking awesome year for me.
If all this turns out to be true, RFOM might just become the best shooter ever. I loved one and this would just be crazy if all is true. The game was always great online but this would make it unbelievable. Add on a great single player, we've got ourselves a winner.
Even on that level, think about all the Money Sony and MS have sunk into first party research and development. They do this so that their console has a one up on the other in a form of software. So console competition is driving some of the software development. Think of all the leaps and bounds engines have seen due to this. I'm not saying it would go away because surely you're correct. Competition would still exist among game developers and push things along. I just think it would be slower...
the only person benifiting from a unified console would be the developers and the console creater. Consumers on the other hand never benifit from something like this. It's called a Monopoly. Imagine having one car maker, one fuel company, one TV company, one computer company or even one shoe company. Prices would be dictated by the company. Competition drives down prices, creates differentiation, and makes us consumers happy. One console might be good for you MR. Jaffe but, it is in no way go...

Think what you will but, this war has an effect on the PS3. Since the xbox is in compeitition with the PS3 and also supports HD-DVD, this news is totally relevant. On top of that, this stuff has been posted for years now. Why do you all of a sudden sound so sick of this news. Is it because you too also invested too heavily in HD0-DVD. Someone a little sour?

Actaully ... the parody was quite accurate and rather humurous.
They do need to add a couple things. Namely split screen. They also need a new GUI and more tracks. A couple other options would be nice to like a quick race option. The tickets are cool but, it would be nice to just have a quick race option. After unlocking maps by playing the tickets, a user could quick race, pick the map and the car set and then just play. With split screen of course. The game at it's core is one of the most fun I've ever played. If they add these things, we're talking one...
I read somewhere a while back that after the first one had been developed, they had already finished version 2 of their engine. If they have a better engine, more cleaned up textures and an inside the car GUI, I'll cry from joy.
You're easily one of the biggest a$$hats on this site. Like that doesn't happen in RFOM? I've done that with my clan plenty of time. Just because Halo is slower paced does NOT mean it's more tactical. If you want tactical gameplay then, get into a clan and play matches.
