now that is entertainment. Watching fanboys argue over the definition of fanboyism and finger pointing is just classic. POG is in there acting like a saint. I mean ... that stuff should be saved and then sent back to the sarcasticgamer to show them what they started.

is by far the worst Golden Girl. Betty Wite is where it's at.

lol ...

come on ... it's fun to poke at fanboyism because at it's root, fanboyism lacks any logic or reason.

A lot of times a sequal in video games means, the chance to fix something not done right in the first one. They also get the chance to up their engine quality inceasing it's visuals.

With movies, sequals almost always never hit the origional. Matrix anyone?

I might have to pick you up again if I can put my COD4 addiction down. lol

they forgot to metion R6V 2, GT V, KZ 2, Motorstorm 2, Fable 2 and (fingers crossed) FFXIII.

Wow ... there are a lot of sequals.

LBP FTW.

you're just a loyal sugar tea fanboy whose taste buds haven't developed into a higher state like mine have. Sissy ....

lol

I don't agree. Giving the people the option of keeping their old movies without having to use up another input in the back of your TV isn't going to hinder the industry.

Do gaming consoles feel the pain of BC?

Ultimately, people want BD because of picture quality. Most newer movies see the benifits from this. A lot of older movies won't. I don't need to upgrade "Swingers", "Spaceballs", and "The Goonies" to BD since it won't make m...

fanboy. I can't stand the southern desire to put sugar in ones Ice Tea. It's like drinking light beer. BTW ... did I mention I'm a dark beer fanboy as well.

lol

"Wii Fanboys - Easily tricked. This group, mostly made up by the elderly and small children are easily duped into most anything. Bogus Mortgages, getting into a stranger’s car, or even “next-gen” gaming. Ask them how many times they’ve played Wii Sports…. and be amazed."

lol ... I hate the freakin' Wii.

to read the now occasional negative PS3 article. This isn't the PS3 bashing forum that it once was.

6530d ago 5 agree1 disagreeView comment

that is, unless you're "The Mart at Xbox Kings" and are starting to look seriously desperate for some negative PS3 press that was so common last year at this time.

Seriously ... if after this year, I have HOME, Ingame XMB, A whole bunch more great titles, a format winning HD movie player and a netflix type sevice to download my rentals then, the last thing I'm going to worry about is if my drive reads disks slower. This install thing is about as important as a Sony f...

It can't be. The HDD isn't standard to all 360 sold.

As far as the PS3 needing it standard ... I don't know why. I would assume that people can't figure out creative ways to stream the data from the BD disk while still being cost effective. Isn't KZ2 supposed to have seamless transistion of areas with only an initial load of each level? Uncharted did it nicely as well. HS didn't require an install either. Devs can do it, I just think that manadorty installs are the easy soluti...

b1tchen idea. It's actually cool enough to bring out the word "RAD" when describing it.

as video games become more mainstream, larger corporations are going to want in. Viacom, Paramount, Universal and Warner are eventually going to want a piece of the pie. I don't know how I feel about that. Obviously these companies have great resources at their disposel but, I would hope they don't trash an existing genre of entertainment. Lord knows I couldn't take a video game equilvilant of Zoolander.

who cares if it's installed. Your saved game data isn't affected so, play it and delete it. If you want to play it months later, you can re-load it. If you don't want to play it months later ... you should have rented it.

I also play COD4 and used to play Warhawk/Resistance until COD4 entered my life. RFOM2 and KZ2 will be games that I play this year over the PSN as well. Look me up.

If they give us the option to pay a flat montly rate, I'm in. I usually rent the movies first and then decide if I want to buy them. This would be awesome for me since it would cut out all the mailing crap. Then, if I like the movie, it's off to Amazon to purchase the mofo.

analog and digital aren't synonomous with SD and HD but, some people WILL convert over once everything is digital. My girlfriends father is one of them. He knows he's going to have to get a new Cable box. He knows he's going to either need a new converter or TV. So ... he's going to get a new TV and a BD player in a year. He's not converting now ... hes waiting for next year's TV deals and the coming of digital. The chaning of analog and digital will play a role. It might not be huge but, a ...

Once pairity has been achieved, there won't be any way to downplay the PSN at all. That 50 bucks a year will start to look a little more pricy then it is. Two of my friends have PS3's beacuse of BD and becuase they can play online for free. Not everyone cares about cross game communication. I don't think the PSN will hurt LIVE at all though. People will still have 360's and, people will still want to play those games online. It might help to sway an informed consumers decision but I don't see...
