You must have been playing in the private rooms. I never did, it's always a frag fest in the private rooms. Insomniac does need to work on the multiplayer aspects of the game to get things more, "under control" though. It's why I like COD4 online better then RFOM. I think things are looking up for RFOM2 on all fronts though.

Insomniac is quickly turning into my favorite devs. Getting them into the first part loop would be great.
It's cool they have a relationship with GG too. I only wish GG wasn't so quiet. I'm pretty sure Sony is making them be quiet but, it would be nice to see as much info from them that we get from Insomniac.

and you consider what you do to be an artform, then it would seem natural to want to progress. The Wii, while appealing to large quatities of people with it's controller, is a step back in power. It doesn't give devs the opportunity to go crazy and see what they can accomplish like the 360 and PS3 do. Technology progresses exponentially and with it, so has video games. Why couldn't the Wii progress just a little more too.

the title of the game is heavenly sword. Do you honestly think you won't be using that weapon? It's not going to be twin-twang the whole time.
Full camera control would have been great. A jump button would have been cool too. Although it was really never needed.
I shroomed while playing resistance one time this year. It was like the first time in years I tried it. Anyway ... I'm trailing ... RFOM looked AMAZING. I can't really decribe how it looked. Let just say that, KZ2 didn't look as good as what I was seeing.
and HS. I mean seriously ... Halo 3 is an awesome game but, it's not the most graphicly advanced game that came out this year at all.

COD4 gets away with it because of the multiplayer. HS needs to be longer. It was my only complaint. Otherwise, it was one of the best cinimatic experiences I had in a videogame. I ejoyed both play-throughs. The story line was compelling and the gameplay was fun. I was definately hooked after playing. I think that in part is why it's length was so disapointing. I really didn't want the game to end when it did.
I really hope they don't release this when GOW3 comes out. I'm going...
understand that NPD only does North America. VG isn't all that accurate but, it's a close enough guess.
their prices simply because there isn't competition in the format. The PS3 is still one of, if not the best, players on the market. The only reason they would raise standalone prices is, if they just wanted everyone to buy a PS3. Why would anyone get a standalone if the PS3 becomes signifigantly cheaper.
Plus ... common sense tells us that, they need to get these players out to the masses for the format to be succesful. Prices have nowhere to go but down.

An interesting weapon assortment. Good graphics (I'm a whore). Intelligent AI. Solid Multiplayer. I think those are core. A good story line helps as well. It intensifies the game and makes the experience more enjoyable. Still ... I might even go so far as to say that, a good multiplayer is the most important aspect to me. I haven't been able to put COD4 down beacuse of it.
when I played an MMO for one year of my life, a lot of the men were actually women trying to avoid immature little jerk offs. There were those odd men playing as women though. Man ... the internet can be a wierd place.
I jsut crave to know what these people are so excited about. O -well ... to each their own. Most people I know with Wii's want another system be it a PS3 or 360.
This gen is going to be an interesting one. I don't really think anyone is going to be the clear winner. Only time will tell though.
