Not a COD fan and I don't like twitch shooters, but credit to COD for really going all out guns blazing with AW. They've taken the mechs from TF, the dynamic maps from BF and all the content from COD and seem to have delivered a great game for twitch shooter fans.
Having read the reference thread posted by Morganfell and read other bits and pieces, it says Sony paid for the game to be made. They paid for it whilst others chose not to or asked for the game to be made more affordable to produce by lowering quality or the developer themselves taking up a large chunk of the cost.
Now if Sony paid for it, that means the complaints of sales expectations from NT were about them not making money of the game as all they got paid for was making ...
And it was their best selling game considering it only launched on one console with a small install base at the time.
They probably mean they need Sony to give them the right amount of money to make it since Sony own the IP.
I think the problem is that after the Destiny debacle (reviews not sales), if there isn't enough meat (content) and a variety of it, people will be sceptical about the game.

In that case nothing really is free as it's advertisement and everyone ows us something or another.
Also it just shows that in future Sony must not offer anything additional on psn or ps+ as they put themselves at risk if something were to go wrong. They would be better off only providing exactly and only the mp and 2 games a month and nothing more.
The free DC offering has proven it's not good practice to offer more than nec...
You are all missing the point. You are speaking as if that version has been cancelled forever and you will never ever get it in your entire life. All they have said it the game is broke and when it is fixer they will give it to you.
Are people saying they didn't buy ps+ for anything else but Dc? Not for online mp, not for resogun, or the monthly free games, but just for a preview version of a game they knew very little about.
Yes, Sony has even used Alph...
No, the Ps+ subscription entities you to 2 games. For October it was Dust, Spelunky and as an added bonus, a cross gen game called Pix the cat.
Driveclub was a bonus offering if the game worked. It wasn't as part of their 2 games a month deal, it was simply an addition to reward ps+ users. That reward hasn't been taken away, it's been delayed until it gets fixed. You still got your games for the month and you are still getting Driveclub.
You are right with Sony giving something good to make up for Driveclub, but I've worked in complaints for a few big companies. They never give anything to compensate until the problem is fixed. The reason for that is they may end up giving too much or too little.
Secondly, we found out this year that Sony and MS have to pay for the free ps+ games. With EA having released their own service and Sony having to pay to release free content on 3 devices, it can't be easy. ...
Played DC on share play today and it was amazing. It felt like magic having someone navigate your console but no one being in the room. Not sure about TEW, but DC, although you don't control the game, the pad still vibrates as if you are so you get to see and feel the drive. It's really cool.
Yeah, so far it is only people who don't own the game who dislike DC, or those who played it and saw a quick opportunity to get refunds.
Those who actually like arcade racers love the game off and see it far from being anything mediocre. People love to hate. That's a fact in this day and age.
I disagreed and I know it's just a matter of opinion but:
1) agreed, killzone was mediocre due to sp, but mp was the best at time of launch on next gen consoles.
2) ISS - was not the best in series, but still an amazing game
3) Knack - was way better than what the reviews said and came with a candy crush like app to farm materials for the SP. It was better than expectations and oddly, although people are crying for Crash, they didn't ...
Anyone else notice the Play Memories app on the store for thr PS4? I'm sure that wasn't there before. Hopefully that will let us upload pictures and family albums.
I read an article about how the Chinese like f2p games and the ps4 has plenty of them with even more coming soon. I think this will make a huge difference in their China strategy.
Don't people read or comprehend anything these days?!
The next ratchet game on the ps4 will be a reboot to go along with the film. It is not a remaster, rehash, Hd port or anything along those lines. If that's still too confusing, just consider it a new ratchet game with a new story and new everything.
I bought this game with the intention of keeping it until destiny 2 comes out but I traded it in yesterday due to not having enough pve content. I've been doing the same things since the Alpha and it looks like nothings changing anytime soon.
I don't know about biggest liability, but what I do know is that I havent had this much fun with an arcade racer since Metropolis Street Racer and PGR on Xbox. Considering the game still has a few missing features, this can only mean good things for when it does start working.
Also, Sony hasn't made excuses with DriveClub, Evolution has. I would even go as far as saying they haven't made excuses since they admitted they screwed up and they are looking at sorting ...
DLNA is crap. With Netflix and Showbox etc you are better off just using those instead of DLNA.
Even without the online working properly, it is one of the best racers I've played in a longtime. It plays like Metropolis Street Racer but with much better track design.
It's a shame people who haven't bought it have to wait but it will be worth the wait.
Most people don't care about the sp. Most my friends that play cod, bf or even more recently destiny only played the mp. With destiny they had to make an exception and play the story to get their hands on more xp, unlocking strikes etfor loot.
I think people that like proper campaigns not just flashy 4-5hr Michael Bay fests end up buying into Far Cry and the like. COD is essentially a £50 purchase for the mp.
