Hopefully the boycott lives on regardless of this humorous event. Err I mean..."tragic" event.
Interesting approach to the movies trilogy idea.
Do you know which games support this? As far as I know, the only type of game that supports any kind of unlocking/reward system is in the PS-Home Xi. But that's gone now.
They just want money. And they don't want to give out stuff for free. Sucks...but that's business. Goes to show that in the end, they just want our money and this fanboyism about which company loves their fanbase is all moot.
EDIT: Oh really? Splosion Man? I better watch out for it then. Thanks for the info.
Also the video's done, so I'm done Live Updating. Hope it helps those that don't want to sit and watch.
-Well, I knew the "Premium Clothes" are inevitable. My pity for anyone who would spend actual money just for virtual clothes. Like the dude that just spent $3 for a virtual RC Warthog. Y'know, it would be cool that achievements that are unlocked came with avatar clothes. But guess Microsoft would rather charge us. Sony isn't so innocent either since Home's been around much longer, but we don't get avatar clothes for trophy unlocks.
-Wow, that's pretty cool "Party R...
They're asking us to vote on games that aren't even out yet. Games that can still change over time. And above all, games that are entirely different kinds of Multiplayer: which coincidentally happen to be on two different platforms.
Can you smell that fanboy bait?
If Reach is going to be their last game, then Bungie better pull out all the stops with Reach. You cannot tell me the world was not disappointed by Halo 3's "Halo 2 HD" graphics. Not that the graphics are bad as day-old bread, but the world expected much more of the company that brought the Xbox to its knees to also bring the 360 to its knees as well with the best damn graphics/presentation/gameplay /everything to date.
I want Bungie to really REALLY put their souls int...
When I get a demo to try on my own TV, this is all smoke and mirrors until then.
Clinker, the only game I've seen that's worth it's $60 price tag this entire gen is Gears of War 2. But maybe that's my own preference for games that support offline features like split-screen (no black bars!) and LAN plus bots for MP. You might disagree and you're welcome to it.
I support games that make more use of the avatars I created. Nintendo started it, Microsoft is refining it. I hope Sony masters it. "hope". Deny it all you want, but playing as my own virtual avatar is quite cool!
*see RSV2*
Yup, I'm buying used, or off Ebay. I'm not a Brit, but I can certainly sympathize when it comes to price hikes. I usually try to find games that cost around $30-$40. Always. If games cost less, then gamers can take more risks on buying lesser known games.
Am I the only one who's disgusted by this contest?
Interesting. You guys sound like the platforming aspect is a nice breath of fresh air. I plan on getting Uncharted 2 anyhow, but I might jump into MP first before SP to see for myself.
When a group of people sit and make a statement like that, you can't help but listen. Thanks for the input guys (Beast & Hulk). You know how it's like. You pay $60 for the SP part of the game and never look at the MP part. You try to like it, but it falls short of expectations. Y'feel that you ...
I'm personally more interested in an AssCreed movie/short films (AssCreed II: Lineage) than a Halo anime (Halo Legends). The former being that I'm a big fan of stealth and parkour. Well, my hopes for either aren't high seeing as anime adaptation of games usually doesn't end well (see FF7: AC) or movie adaptation of games (see Uwe Boll) or live-action game films (see Live-Action Mirror's Edge).
However putting all that side, I think Hollywood is just running out of surefire ideas ...
Tell me about it. When I look at the gameplay, I don't see much. All I see is a Gears style gameplay w/ Climbing-wall action. Maybe there's something I'm missing then cause you sound sure of yourself. Care to elaborate for a fellow gamer?
Am I the only one that cares about the SP only? I feel that the MP looks tacked on and will not be what most gamers care about. I was engaged to Uncharted 1 because of the SP element, and that's how I think it's going to continue forth. The MP just doesn't cut it for me.
If you don't have Castle Crashers yet PS3 Owners. GET IT. IT's worth it's price. I already have it for 360, but if I had the choice: I would've preferred the PS3 Version just cause of the controller.
Olivia Munn is a horrible image for us gamers. If there's anything she's perpetuating, it's the stupidity of gamers. Jade Raymond is far better at representing gamers than Munn is seeing as how Raymond actually develops games and plays games as a career and hobby. Also Raymond is good-looking as well.
Only thing Munn knows how to do is read teleprompters and she barely knows about the games she's talking about. Last time I checked, most of us gamers know far more about games than...
I guess they have that little faith in their little spin-off comics huh? How pathetic.
How short is "short"?
If it went from 8-10hr to like 5-6hr. That's fine. If we're only talking <4hr then I have a problem with that. I buy games for the SP because MP can always degrade in value. While SP's value is eternal.
