Damn guys, I'm dizzy from all the spin you guys are putting out.
What happens when you're without internet? Also what if your friend wanted to borrow your copy of BF1943 to test it out? You can take care of phyiscal discs, but you can't let your friend borrow your copy because of stupid DRM. DD will become more accepted when publishers take off the noose around our necks. But the reason DD existed to begin with is because of piracy. So....it's a Catch 22.
This is stupid, we don't need a damn female in a heavy-male game. Bring her in and kill her off. That's good for me.
Why are Square-Enix going through with this? Kingdom Hearts is suppose to be some playful RPG with Disney-SE characters in a happy place. The direction they're taking with the Kingdom Hearts franchise is sickening. You can't take a balloon and draw a serious face on it and expect people not to laugh.

Well call me pissed. Way to shaft the original fanbase.
I think it's all about the pressure now. Knowing that you only have one life will definitely make you think twice about some firefights and raiding on guard posts for fun. I think I might want to attempt this challenge.
Domain Squatters. Age-old tradition of WYSIWYG days current.
I thought the releasing of the 8800GT and the 9800 GTX+ was a sign they were competing with AMD/ATI directly there. That and the 275GTX as well.
Haha, so how long will the GT300 be in length? Will it be long enough for me to sharpen it as a knife? Oh and what about the cost? Regardless of the article

My only true complaint is that being forced to connect to the internet takes away the convenience LAN brought. So now I gotta drag my modem and my router around just so me and my friends can play. Back in the days, we all would gather outside in the park and use just a cheap $10 Hub to connect to each other. No excess wires, no long ass wire connecting to the model. What Blizzard is basically saying is.
"Hey, we know that forcing you guys to be connected to the internet is a...
You guys have never really experienced LAN the way it was meant to be if "internet" is the only answer you have.
Even Uncharted 2 is afraid of MW2. Don't you ever wonder why Uncharted 2 is releasing in October instead of the usual November? They're not releasing in October because they love us gamers. It's cause Sony doesn't want their games fighting with Infinity Ward's games. Sony moves up Uncharted 2 to maximize console/game sales as much as possible.
I'm betting MW2 will be the most pirated game on PC ever since Spore.
Just like fast food. The gaming industry isn't hurting too badly compared to other parts of our society. We, as people, need to do our duty and cut back on reckless spending into one area and diversify ourselves accordingly. People in the construction industry can sure use our support financially, so that more people aren't laid off in sectors where it's tough to find work. Why not pay someone to install new roofs for your house? Or buy a new furniture to replace the old one and hand the one ...
Yup I agree. Such optimism doesn't change sales or project record-breaking profits without some muscle to go with it. If the publisher wants another FPS, then that's what developers will do because it's a financial relationship. The truly innovative games don't sell well because $60 a game is quite a risk taker and could potentially bankrupt a company *cough FRD *cough*.
Then you have a proven formula and a projected sum of profits already calculated that distills itself down to ...
This article really touches home on all the pain and anguish when trying to buy games that justify our $60. Games that put quality before quantity. Giving us our money's worth with fresh ideas instead of sequels.
Give the article a read, it's a good one. It's shameless PR for Tales of Tale, but the guy being interviewed makes good points regarding consumer demands being a cause of sequels with shorter quality, and countless repetitive sequences to bulk up the average gametime.
I think you miss the point here. Ask yourself, why is there an L4D2 Boycott? Because they feel like the game is overpriced and unjustified. Then when the game itself contains content and ideas that one of the co-creators of the L4D2 Boycott feels should be free. Well I'd be pretty pissed too. Especially since he can't do anything about it because he posted it on their forums, which is considered Valve's property now. Again, pissed not only because his ideas are going towards a game he hates, ...
Ugh, I'm tired of Sony implementing cool features, but developers aren't taking advantage of it because Sony isn't dropping the iron boot on their lazy, sorry, cheap asses. Screencap support is just one of many features that we sorely miss. Let's go over the list that's possible with PS3 but hasn't been widely implemented due to developer-stupidity.

-Custom Soundtracks
-Youtube Capture support
-Screen-capture support

LOL "bend me over edition". You deserve a bubble! People are making a big deal out of nothing. People can choose to buy what they want. Life goes on.
Next will be the "suck me off edition"
