I'm stuck doing yard work to care much about gaming. FML
Because PC devs know better than to mess with us PC gamers.
Have you taken out the trash bags yet?
According to the article. There's no record of any layoffs or anything. The only thing anyone needs to know is that Midway was bought out by Warner Bros. The exact same way Eidos was bought out by Square-Enix. The only difference is that Eidos keeps it's development name. But the Midway Games name is entirely eradicated and the team is absorbed into the umbrella. Again, I see no records of any layoffs.
You miss the point. Stereotyping that all 360 owners only play shooters isn't any different from racist stereotypes like all black people like fried chicken. It's sad how we can tolerate such thought. But whatever, I got better things to do than chase down idiots. I just happen to be playing MGS4 as I typed this.
I think the only way we'll get LAN back is if someone hacks it in. Then it's all downhill for Blizzard from there.
Take your bigotry elsewhere.
Just build one yourself. I built one for $400 very recently actually for my nephew.
2GB of DDR2 667 RAM (or PC 5300) is like $20
A decent GFX Card like an 8800GT is about $100
The 250GB HDD was $60
The mid-size ATX Case(CM Elite) was $40 w/ 500W PSU (I would prefer to buy my own PSU from ThermalTake, but whatever)
I got a nice AMD Biostar mATX for like $50
I bought a AMD 5050e 45W for about $60
Got a card reader for $12
Bought a Samsung D...
It costs about $400-$500 to build a rig, while it would be guessing around $200-$500 (360 and PS3 respectively) to buy a console. Let's break it down and see how much it really does cost to get the optimal experience. (average costs everyone can agree with)
PC Gaming (TOTAL:$589)
Rig - $400
LCD Monitor - $150
Speakers - $15
USB Keyboard - $12
USB Laser Mouse(<1000DPI) - $12
Console Gaming (TOTAL: $600)

Aw damn... I was actually looking forward to driving in rainy conditions. Aw darn it.
I didn't even notice that. Should I be happy or sad?
I think the purpose of the fake ROM was just to dupe idiots. Not so much thwart piracy all-together. Just my thought though.
EDIT: I take that back. This was written solely to dupe idiot pirates. Apparently it was a few days ago.

You speak too soon Vx.
So what you think you just explained is that Square-Enix is banning gil farmers?
I couldn't agree more. I spent the better of my Starcarft days playing LAN on the school computers.
It's the ending that produces a "larger than life" feeling. Even though Hale got a bullet to whatever part of his face, and Sev now has an assload of Helghast fleets on his head: it simulates the feeling that "something big is about to happen...". Whereas Mirror's Edge, you have no such feeling. I think "glorious journey" was the wrong word to use there. Hopefully you get what I'm thinking.
*sigh* playing the recession card huh? What a way to go Stringer....The PS3 is too pricey for most people. That's fact. The sales back that up. Drop the price already. The market wants it.
GOD ****ING DAMMIT! I HATE THIS STUPID GAME!
Just trying to empathize. If I was in the Iraq Conflict and endured such hardships. Came back and saw some Japanese developers who don't know a thing about the horrors there, mask it comedy and sex-appeal, that would be a huge insult to the soldiers that fight and die to keep the conflict from going FUBAR.
I'd even say this game is a bigger insult to Veterans than Six Days in Fallujah. At least one game is trying to re-create and honorably respect all of the things that happened ...
I told the others I was "taking a bathroom break" XD
