As a lover of anime, this one is just poor-quality.
Poor animation
Bland art-style (Spartan looks like a Lego Block)
Poor dubbing
Awful 3D Effects (1970's Gundam was better!)
Is that suppose to be a Brute Chieftan?!
Any Halo fan should condemn Microsoft for this lousy knock-off. I don't mind milking as long as the work is done well and has exceptional style. (Halo 3 ODST).
I'm sad...now that's one way to make a Gamer sad. Awwww.....I took one more look and it does look like some typos can be misleading. Awww..shucks. Thanks Kakoii, once again it's always good to see a fellow PC Enthusiast.
"Radeon 5750 and 5770 are scheduled for launch around the official launch date of Windows 7 [give or take around October 22nd-23rd, depending on what continent you live on]. The prices are set at just 149 US Dollars for 5750, with 5870 being priced at 199."
I'm pretty sure I read it right unless you're referring to the "rumored" prices which does say the 5870 is at $400, but if I didn't read it right....
*sad face*
That....is creepy.
$200 FOR 5870?!?!?!
OMFG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That's sick! Unless Nvidia steps on the ball and kicks it far, I think I'm going AMD/ATI this time around.
must....resist.
I'll have to wait and see about this game. At times like this, it pays to be a PS360 owner if this game can deliver.
Word on that. Bang for the buck pricing always had and will decide the GFX Market.
2%!? That's not even funny. I hope Nvidia does something about this. Probably move out from Malaysia?
"How many worked out of the (4 x 104) 416 candidates? Try 7. Yes, Northwood was hopelessly optimistic - Nvidia got only 7 chips back. Let me repeat that, out of 416 tries, it got 7 'good' chips back from the fab. Oh how it must yearn for the low estimate of 20%, talk about botched execution. To save you from having to find a calculator, that is (7 / 416 = .01682), rounded u...
Well I bought Halo 3 ODST (playing leaked copy: pre-ordered legitimate copy) and I believe Bungie should be supported. It may be an expansion, but for what I'm getting, (4-6 hour campaign, Firefight, 4 Player Co-op, All Halo 3 MP +DLC), I think I'm getting a good deal. I cannot remember how many times I replayed Halo 3's campaign over and over again, I feel like ODST will give me the same replay value, so I bought it.
Things like the Halo: Reach beta to me is just icing on the ca...
Agreed, Halo is a party game and two-controllers being bundled would've sweetened the deal. That and a year of Live to boot.
8800 Ultra was $750 CAD, it was a horrible time. We should be thankful that AMD/ATI forced Nvidia to drop their prices, otherwise we'd be paying for GFX Cards the price of complete Mid-range towers.
at least in the GPU segment anyways.
Those numbers are impressive, but it all means nothing if people can't afford it. Doesn't matter what Nvidia does better and what cards they have if it's not priced properly. When 8800GTXs came out, it was all fair. But when the 8800GT came out: they sold like hotcakes, demand skyrocketed and prices went up as a result.
EDIT: Ya, $250 and below sounds about right.
Oh Panda, you just had to mention the PS3. Prepare yourself.
Good, I've been on FW 2.90 because I heard of the freezing issues. I'll sit on the fence for the "word on the street".
I remember that. Such a good mood. However, "Reclaimer" will always be my favorite track from Halo 2.
There's alot of off-topic posts here. If anyone here is curious I can most likely explain (and spoil) what all of those story-related points are all about.
That's good of IGN. ODST is indeed shorter than Halo 3 and it's good that they point this out very clearly(30-60 minutes by my count). But the game is still fun and there's alot of things to do in the mean time to buff up that playtime. This pack is definitely worth it if you like Halo 3 alot, but haven't picked up any of the map packs.
I'm glad I waited. If you like Halo 3, you'll like ODST. If you like anything O'Donnell does regarding music: like me, you'll pick it up just to ...
