If you know your stuff, it's REALLY hard to brick Linux OSs. -s
Playing the devil's advocate. The fact that millions of people have the game and critics loving the game doesn't mean they know what's best. Wii Sports anyone?
I'm not saying that millions of people don't know anything because a million people is a lot of people. I'm saying to watch yourself when you use fallacies like the bandwagon to prove your point.
PS-Wand? anybody?
The article is literally taking one quote and blowing it out of proportion. The original NYT article is about pro-smoking, not some conspiracy against gamers.
I thought the whole bit was based more on the fact that Weaver's character was that of a botanist and a scientist. She prefers plants to people and so spends more time with plants. No where did I see any sort of jab at gamers with Weaver's character.
If anything, Joel Moore's character: Norm represents the typi...
LOL Penis Bone.....
Anyways, I just hope that Atlus does the Medical field justice. Don't mislead would-be doctors with stupid things like some omnipotent Disinfectant, leave the Omni-gel stuff to Sci-Fi games like Mass Effect.
Edutainment is cool, but don't go too far like MW2 or GH5 where people can't tell the difference between a game and the real stuff.
Just keep the articles to quality, thought-provoking, and unique content and I'll be happy. The best for me is Gamasutra though as the articles they write is pure-gold. However pull a Kotaku and we're finished.
That said, deal-hunters would be somewhat delighted as something is better than nothing. I think they'll be better deals as we get closer to MAG's release date. $10 credit isn't much.

Ya dude, this ain't funny. **** off Kotaku.
I would've been more impressed if he actually spelled "behind you" correctly. FFS, it's only an extra 4 characters and it would've made the whole even more badass.
QWERTY setup FTW!
I don't have words to describe how I feel right now.....
-Consoles need dashboard updates and FW updates just like Windows Update and driver updates.
-With this gen, even the "local play" argument on consoles are starting to fade away as split-screen gets shafted and online play is pushed more because publishers want to sell more copies of a game.
-If you hang out with console gamers, you'll see them pack up their consoles more. If you hang out with PC gamers, you'll see them pack up their PCs more. Just Christma...
Doesn't change the fact your post is irrelevant to the article. The article is about Crysis, not your personal views on graphics.
You're too serious a fanboy if you can't laugh at that video.
Well, Japan has crazy-erotic fetishes and America has crazy Catholic-Jingoist crusaders. The world balances itself out in a strange, but logical way. Every country has their own set of freaks.
It's the "airport". I'd be sleeping too because of how long it takes to board and pass security over here in the states.
Do we really need SATA 3.0 yet? HDD Speeds on average aren't even enough to barely break past SATA so far. I'm not a fan of Intel's latest CPU movement with LGA1156 and LGA1366. Just pick one socket and stick with it FFS!
Maybe they should share some of their internet with the rest of the world!
yay!
Exactly, We need Nvidia to show up AMD/ATI so we can get better deals on our GFX cards.
What I'm trying to figure out is what is taking Nvidia so long?
Nowadays, Developers are no better than the salesman trying to get you to buy something. Think about it, would they really say anything bad about their own product? No, and that's where questions need to be asked. I'm going to have to wait and see. I reserve my judgment for the MP Beta.
