Dude, Pennywise if you don't like Halo, that's fine, but plenty of people still love Halo. I love Halo and I'm excited for Halo 3 Recon. Sure I know that Microsoft is milking the franchise pretty dry, but I don't have to buy any of them if I don't want to. Hell, I don't even have a Master Chief toy and I consider myself pretty Halo-leet.

After TGS, I knew it was a matter of time before a journalist capitalizes on the FUD to get site hits.
If I could punch journalists in the nose and kick them in the balls for every flamebait, un-newsworthy article they put out for the sake of site hits; there would be alot less guessing and editorials and alot more news-worthy material. FYI, this applies to both Microsoft,Sony, and Nintendo camps.

The games on the Wii aren't the problem, but rather the hardware. I know some games on the Wii is just fantastic, but the fact that the Wii can't give me crisp PS2-Xbox graphics on my HDTV is reason enough for me to ditch it. I can't have an outdated console making my investments look bad. Also most of my friends aren't into the Wii, so even more reason. I get more playing time out of my 360/PS3.
It's actually pretty easy if you know what to do. The important part is using your Torque Bow/grenades to get rid of the Kryll shield and then use the Longshot(damage charged) to pop RAAM in the face. After your 10th bullet or so, you'll win. I had a hard time with him on Insane mode, but after I figured out what to do, he's a friggin cake walk.
But I do believe that Ps3 will need a price-drop to match the 360, or face losing huge momentum. The mainstream market usually buys into this gen at the $200 price point. I know cause me and many of my friends all bought PS2s and Xboxs when the price dropped <$200.
This is funny because I remember when 360 got a price cut, the majority of users in the comment section twisted the price cut into "Microsoft is desperate! 360 is faile!" - Oh my how things change so quick...
Sure I'm a bit tense when playing Arcade Mode because I'm concentrated, but it's a good kind. Ya know? I guess the words I'm looking for is "euphoric state of mind". It freshens me up and energizes me. I'm a bit embarrassed, but I frequently delay my daily workouts to play a game of Super Stardust HD. But hey, both activities wake my up and motivate me so why not? No Coffee, Energy Drinks needed. Games are my caffeine, and it's healthy for my mental reflexes!

Hype or not, LBP is MM's first game and the first game of this gen that pushes user-created content platforming. I'm going to have to listen to the reviews and have some hands on time at Play-n-Trade before I make a "new" purchase. I don't consider MM "talented" at this time of writing, but that can change anytime between now and some hands-on time. Going the Gamefly route is probably the smartest thing a skeptic person can do.
That's the only reason I switched to HD. I was frustrated when trying to read the small text that couldn't be down-scaled. Other than that, I couldn't care less for HD vs. SD. Just being able to read the text was enough for me to upgrade. That and the DTV transition.
