To be honest, the PS3 exclusives that seem fun to play aren't coming out till much laaaater.... Resistance 3? Motorstorm? Killzone 3?
Xbox exclusives are much closer to the present.
Halo fills it's own niche in the shooter market. It tends to be something everyone (except N4G users) has quite a bit of fun with.
Really, other than maybe COD, Halo has no competition.
I love how the battlefield is always changing - lambamts, locusts, mini-bosses, little crawling things, all the things you can do to them...
Nuts. This is truly bigger, better, more badass.
I always liked the clean look of Halo - which I believe is a design choice made so characters (friendly/enemy) stand out more.
Ghost of Sparta
Because people will buy it? If there's demand, why not charge more?
Are you saying Kinect will not sell?
Microsoft products never 'flop'.
I just played Wii Sports for the first time in my life yesterday. I cannot believe I enjoyed it.
But haters gonna hate.
$200 PS3 screams win for the game industry.
That means a price drop for Xboxes in order to stay competent
and that means a WHOLE SH*TTON of new entries into the console gaming market. I know so many dudes who are just waiting for price drops on either console to jump in.
I'm Korean (living in Canada), and...
the storyline for this game is so goddam implausible. Maybe if they had a better reason for why Korea gets united instead of that Kim Jong Un becomes all friendly and turns them into one.
But I'm watching this game.
I would pay 15 fat bucks for it.
YOU HEAR ME EA! 15 MONIES! MAKE IT HAPPEN!
3D is a terrible gimmick - not accessible enough to make an impact. I'm surprised Sony is pushing it so strongly.
COD is worse than Halo's. Trust me.
You should be able to finish ODST and SC:C in one good marathon session (they're quite short games). Make some time for them.
Destructoid's reviews are just as good as any site. I prefer theirs over most.
It's just Jim Sterling's scores that don't always make sense (using the entire 1-10 scale), but his reviews themselves are fine.
Yeah!
Wrong, rezzah. The Halo co-op campaign was hugely popular.
Everything in Halo is built with multiplayer in mind, especially the weapon/armor balance.
Crysis on the other hand... there was little multiplayer focus. I think it could have used a lot more polish.
Seeing Halo 3 still on the top LIVE activity list after how many years... is incredible. Halo is the true king on online.
Now, the nutheads on this site may have different preferences for online gameplay, but Halo is still up there for many, many, many gamers.
That was back then. Deal with it.
Alpha Male is cutting himself right now. If only if he held out for a month...
