Multiplayer... as in co-op?
Two Shepards? Hmmm....
From what you see here, it's really not a huge improvement.
The tighter controls though, will make me take a look at this game.
But that's nothing to flame at. Killzone 2 is already an incredible looking game.
I guess from all the hype, I was expecting something much more, but I guess that's not fair.
Maybe if people are buying the game, there's something it does well?
Halo 3 is a great game. I have fun with it every time I play it.
The beta had so many nutty moments.
This video highlights it very well. Bring on the best of the series, Bungie!
One thing to say:
Mass Effect 3 on new UE3 engine.
That digger launcher looks soo out of place.
But I have no doubts it will fit in with the gameplay.
N4G users are the minority... a lot of people had problems with the controls.
Making the controls more responsive would attract more casual gamers like me - meanwhile, you guys would still buy the game. Win-win.
Gears was never 60fps.
It's probably because everything on the screen moves so slowly the game appears to be smooth... but Gears was always 30fps.
Gears of War 3 will have split-screen. Suck on that, haters. I will be buying this game because that day one.
Dude, the lighting has been completely redone. I believe it's similar to Uncharted 2's... but don't flame me for that.
N4G mods should block the word 'GOTY'. Please.
What summer games?
I was under the impression that this summer would be pretty dead too. Are there some high-profile games coming out over the next few months?
Well, fallingdove
To be honest, I have low low low expectations for AI in shooters. The best AI I can recall is in Crysis (even that's buggy), but I have been let down by AI in almost every other shooter. Cod AI, BFBC AI, Splinter Cell AI, Resistance AI, Operation Flashpoint AI...
I consider Halo's AI to be pretty good. I don't know how advanced the code is under the hood, but it's engaging and appears to be good when you can see the AI doing ...
Sorry, my bad. The number for Halo Reach as of several months ago was 200 AI. According to some interviews, Bungie thinks they might be able to double that.
But if you think about it, Halo has some incredible AI. This is pretty impressive.
From the old campaign previews, I heard that there can be some ridiculously large battles, thanks to the ability to have almost 50 AI on screen.
If so, then yeah. It will be pushing boundaries.
Excellent news - a couple weeks before what I was expecting.
I cannot wait to play a fine-tuned Halo Reach multiplayer. Further balanced weapons, abilities, and hopefully beefed up vehicles in improved environments.
Every time...
sigh. Sundays.
It's a bad idea to split the online community.
Weighty controls with no aim assist... not that fun to play with.
They're not even competing. They're on two different platforms!
You can't play a shooter at COD's frantic pace without aim assist.
Stop being so ignorant. The game would be more frustrating than fun.
