I don't like their art style with the noise on building textures... but I can do with it.
Is it just me, or is that a total overhaul on the lighting part of the engine. I have never seen lighting done like that on an UE3 game.
N4G users are a tiny minority of the total gamer population.
Among more casual gamers I know personally, Natal is quite hot. It's on their radar - they're just waiting for more information to be released.
They're more likely to buy it than not at this moment.
The shooting/combat mechanics itself look great.
What I'm not digging though, are the environments. All we've seen are narrow paths.
Man, ever since Halo 3, I've been looking for enormous battlefield sandboxes to fight in. I don't think I've been satisfied in that respect yet... Bad Company 1 came close though.
The Halo Reach netcode is brilliant. Uber fast, accurately matches you up with people of similar skill, and only picks capable hosts.
Incredible post. Bubbles.
To be honest, N4G users are a tiny tiny TINY minority in the massive gamer popoulace.
In your dreams.
Believe it or not...
Remedy is not one person.
This PSN subscription service will NOT be making a lot of money if Sony is keeping every feature they currently have free.
Well, HolyOrangeCows
Natal is Microsoft's big thing.
I haven't seen Microsoft hyping up their hard drives, or their wireless attachments.
Microsoft really wants these peripherals to get into homes. An accessible price is $60... there's no way it'll be sold for $200.
They just don't notice that COD MW2 was probably the pinnacle of the series and won't get any more popular from here on.
Isn't kicking the melee system in this game?
I think it will operate fine. It just looks a bit off...
Wait... is everyone complimenting the graphics?
Are you aware this is an Unreal Engine game?
Just thought you guys should know.
The lighting looks incredible. They must be using the new lighting system that's in Gears 3 as well.
Are you going to say that Gears of War 2 looks bad.
I understand that third party devs who use the engine makes games that look all 'samey', but every game Epic's made with their own engine has been brilliant.
Of course, the creators of the engine would know how to use it.
They said no co-op... which is strange for Epic... we'll see how it goes.
As long as each weapon fits a particular role/niche and aren't all purpose weapons - SMGs being proficient at sniping, snipers at close quarters etc.
Sane comment.
No game has the lasting effect like Halo does. Nope, not even COD.
I'd expect about 10 monies. It's 4 reworked maps for this mode, right?
Well said. Bubbles PS360.
