Square is simply following the money as they always have. They see that they'll make more money through digital distribution than physical so of course they're jumping on that bandwagon and porting a "psn/xbla/wiiware/iphone& quot; game to maximize profits by not having to develop a "new" game.

There's no point in complaining or pointing fingers, I'm buying the game regardless, Day 1 so Square ALREADY has my money. It's not gonna matter if the game looks half as good as the demo even i really can't see myself passing this one up no matter what happens.

I would say Killzone 2 doesn't belong there review wise but hype wise it most certainly does as it was boasted about to high h3ll yet people have very mixed opinions about the game.

I wonder how many they were receiving for sale and how many are in this second order as "Amazon Sells out of..." doesn't means very much without numbers. All i know is that it's a high number because Amazon hardly EVER sells out of hot ticket items. It's a good sign for sony but it doesn't really give us any estimate of HOW good they're doing.

It was a good idea but it's been in the making for a while now. It's only getting coverage because of the slim PS3 having it branded on it's side though. The interview with Kaz explains it all but it's basically what FlipMode just said.

The Slim isn't bundled with games so they're sure to sell a few with the system itself. I thought retailers not making money off the console sells was common knowledge by now.
Sony brought all their E3 content and then some to make this event successful. What did other bring really? If Sony hadn't gone would it have been noteworthy at all? Think about it. Not only did they announce the price cut and slim, they also had a playable build of GT5 for the first time anywhere and it showed damage along with all the games features. This was noteworthy itself as GT5 is a highly anticipated title. Fireware 3.0 being disclosed and demoed was icing on the cake.

That's full support right there. I almost want to get the game now even though I was one of few who were not impressed by the demo. But all things mentioned, it being under the $60 standard AND the fact that they're using the batman voice from the wb cartoon series/justice league/justice league unlimited all make me reconsider the game.
