I cover my mkvs so the PS3 can play them but the biggest draw for mkv being supported would be the subtitles working. I hate to convert subtitles but i always want them. In the end, it's just not worth the extra time so i skip them.

We saw pictures of the lines of people in japan waiting on it's launch, what kinda of number were expected? I'm more interested in what number it evens out to, though that'll be hard to judge as we're getting closer to the holidays and all.
It kinda sucks that their number are rough estimates, but their appeal is in that they release info earlier than others which gives the impatient something to look at.

I was off, guessed %300 but that was a month of september guess so i'll have to wait even longer to see how close my guess was with that.
I read M$ had some part in it as they payed to have it release day and date with the japanese version, like they paid for the english conversion or something to that effect. Like they own the english voice overs or something like that. People mentioned it when this was first announced for the PS3.

This trailer/commercial is fvcking EPIC. I really like it, M$ once again shows that they really know marketing. It looks almost like a marines (in some other language)commercial, then a high budget movie trailer with the great sound effects.
The end with the elite drop being mentioned takes you out of the immersion though, they should have left the trailer sound effects going while the Elites price cut was mentioned.
