There is now a zipper (scroll bar) that appears when you scroll very fast, up or down, through a long list of media items saved on the hard drive, media server or attached devices. It makes it easier to tell how far you are from the top, middle or bottom or a media list.
I went to music, pressed square to display "all" so each song wasn't separated by folders and held down on the d-pad to get to the bottom of the list and viola! a bar appears on the left side of the xmb.
It's less... glitchy/tempermental. I was getting a lot of freeze ups ever since 2 firmwres back but now it's good. I'm on it now

Im gonna have to see if i or a friend can make a custom animated backgrounds/theme. I know a few graphics whor3s who love to do that type of stuff but what i'd really like is a simple program for making them yourself.

LOL, this would be a hilarious little plan for not brining back B/C. Upgrading old games, adding perks and selling them has got to be extremely profitable.
BUT, we ALL know that the PS3 has the best looking exclusive titles and that was what this game was until M$ tainted it. It has been downgraded, FACT. It was exclusive before the downgrade FACT. Most PS3 exclusive look better than multi-platform games AND 360 exclusive FACT. There was a demo for crying out loud and the fact that said demo was 5Gbs means something too (though disc space isn't the argument here).

If tons of fans decide to pass on this game square will only see it as "PS3 owners not buying games" and then FFversusXIII will become all the more appealing as a multiplatform game. *Reiteration* Saying you'll wait for FFvXIII is pointless as it'll get downgraded too after it becomes multi because of the low sales of the PS3 version of FFXIII.
You can't win, but i can't believe the developer/s actually admitted to downgrading. I thought this was settled with the screen...
I can't wait for this game to come out, every time I see "Gran Turismo 5" on this site I get a little excited and rush to see if there's a release date mentioned, though my hopes are never too high as I would expect its announcement at a gaming event rather than randomly.

It's an "action rpg" okay, but is it safe to say it's like Champions of Norrath? Except n third person and with some huge boss enemies? I've been interested in this game for a while but really wish I could play it before risking $60 on a game I might not end up liking.

Not that many of you care about MMOs in the first place. I really wonder what the issue is about MMOs for M$?
I could see it happening only so that Sony can't claim they're the only ones with it but other than that it seems unlikely because of whatever that hidden reason was that other MMO attempts (beyond thePS2 FF MMO) on the 360 have been unsuccessful.

Seeing higher numbers does fool a consumer into thinking one thing might be better than the other and I figured that was their plan with the 250Gb HDD, this is the first im hearing of a possible 500Gb model or HDD for the 360.

It's funny he'd "predict" that there won't be a slim 360 AFTER M$ already said there wouldn't be and most of us already believed there wouldn't be. M$ has revised the 360 twice already so an exterior revision seems out of the picture. I still think the PS3 will see another revision to it's exterior as this slim is just a re-branding and "PSThree" would be the name of the true slimme...

There's a good chance that 8 million of those 32 are re-purchasers after something went wrong with their previous 360s. 8 million was around how many they were ahead by when sony released the PS3, the majority of those consoles are dead now and out of warranty to boot meaning many simply purchased newer models as nothing was special about the older ones to where they'd WANT to keep them over a newer model. I check the deals everyday and recently (this past week) there's been a lot of 360 games on there when it would usually be wii games, wii accessories and ds games with an occasional multi-platform game with the 360, PS3 and possibly pc versions of the game all available for the special price.
