No one likes day 1 patches, game devs need to release games when they're finished. Rushing a product to market before it's ready is why we had the rrod fiasco.
Look at Sony, they pushed back Infamous Second Son because they have integrity rather forcing the devs to release an unfinished product at the systems launch.

With such an easy PC to PS4 conversion matched with self-publishing I'm a little concerned that we're going to be flooded with games. So many option an a lot of games might get overlooked.
It's just a thought, at the same time I'm pretty excited about having so many choices from the start.
I doubt the PS3 will ever be that cheap, the controller alone is sold for around $50.
Conversion rates aside I see the PS3 bottoming out at around $150-$170 an that's years from now.

The ending with the dude with the sword looked nice an I don't think I saw that part before. Or maybe I didn't notice him because the person playing didn't die against him. Either way, the rest of this all looked incredibly boring. The water looks great but it's lame that those cars littering the road are indestructible. This game needs more to it, maybe it has a fun story line or something but gameplay so far leaves much to be desired.

I was just looking at the PS3 bundles at walmart yesterday and $269 was the price. I think it was a Gran Turismo bundle though.
There's a lot of PS3 games still coming out worth owning a PS3 for, even if you plan to get a PS4 this year.

PS3 games are region free anyway. I would've imported or created a US PSN and bought the digital version if I had to.
