Ugh, I only just got to start playing this weekend, I'm one of these new registrations. It sucks that they only let you play on the weekends, I was just getting the hang of it and it got snatched from so quick :(

You must not know Square Enix very well.
They made a lot of money on FF11 and still continue to to this day. FF14 cost them a lot of money with the promise of huge payoffs, it has absolutely no chance of becoming free to play.
Subscription fees are guaranteed with this game.

lol true, I was ready for a new system launch last year.
The X1s controller looks like a square box with winged tips at the bottom, it doesn't even look like a controller. It's got a lot of extra space for no reason at all. Visually, I think it's XYBA buttons are sexy and the glossy top with the X look good too.
On the DS4 the rubber grip handles make it look comfortable like a steering wheel cover. It looks durable, less like a plastic toy and more like something made to never slip from your hand.

Yeah something like farther reaching draw distances and more characters on the screen at once in the PS4 version. I really doubt it will have something like a higher res or better framerate though.
Who knows, I just hope there IS difference to at least prove that they aren't forcing them to be similar based on the least common denominator. The month right before launch is going to be hectic with game review comparisons.

I originally thought that they had planned to cast Ellen Page but Quantic Dream simply beat them to it.
MSs Cloud = glorified dedicated server that can stream some extra game assets.
Sonys Cloud, Gaikai = Cloud service that streams entire games.
I think being able to play entire games might just be a tad bit better than letting an online game have a few extra/smarter opponents. -_^
In the future Gaikai could come out with original titles that are only playable through the service because of the PS4 being too underpowered to play them. It's...

They spent too much on marketing, time and development. Most indies manage their budget better than this. It taking so long is their own fault.

15 total, being worked on, not 20 like Sony, and I'd have to dig up whether they said it was for X1s first year or just period. Either way Sony has more 1st party exclusives in the works than MS.

Big difference, Sony literally said that they have "30 1st party titles being work on, 20 of which will launch in the first year of the PS4 and of those 20, 12 will be new IPs".
We were shown some games at E3, obviously it wasn't all 20 so we know more are going to be shown.
In the case of MS they said they'd shows "games games and more games" at E3 and that's what they did. They didn't say anything about waiting for more afte...
