I didn't get that online expansion thing till about a year before the PS3 released and I barely ever played online after that. Most people still played with friends locally back then. Even my friend with a Dreamcast mainly played offline with us.

Sony did announced a lot of this stuff first.
Look at the feb 20th conference, look at MS may conference, look at MSs E3 an look at Sony's E3.
Sony announced almost all these features first, the only confusion that sets in is because MS expanded on and changed their vision as time passed which made some of their announcements behind Sony's even though they went first at E3.
All of Sony's Feb announcements obviously came first though.
That's far from true, the PS2 had an expansion bay from the start. It was there so that you could buy the network attachment separately for those interested in online gaming rather than increase the overall cost of the system from the start by including it in every model.
It wasn't an after thought, the Dreamcast had already been released with its dial-up online play so Sony made their expansion by way of ethernet (1up'ing the Dreamcast) but the cost would've made PS2...
The PS3 lets you share your games with anyone that creates an account on your console, the 360 already does this too. The sharing of multiplayer is not needed on PS3 because multiplayer gaming is already free to everyone on PS3. On the PS4 the case will be the same though, buy PS+ for one account on the system and you can play online with any account signed in to that system.
You can already sign into your account on other systems and have access to all your digital content on both PS...

What??? I'm 99% positive that it WILL come. They might charge some subscription price for using Gaikai but I'm pretty much positive that they'll make it able to stream the PS3 version of PSN games on to the PS4.
I'm waiting for a Vita with video output on it, like they eventually did for the Psp. I really don't get why it wasn't there from the start, it's a very useful and desirable feature.
How much power does this thing consume to be needing such a huge power brick? I'm not tech hardware savvy so maybe there's no correlation between power brick size and max power consumption?
Either way, it's not like anyone ever decided they'd skip buying a console simply because of it having a power brick.
I think we all are into watching the first unboxing of a console. Other new tech is cool too but these only happen once every 6-7 years or so making them especially... special :D

Uncharted 2 and 3, The Last of Us, Beyond: Two Souls, God of War 3 and Ascension, Killzone 2 and 3, Infamous 2, Heavy Rain.
