Why is this game launching at $60? They always drop to $40 or so a couple months after release so why not get more sales by just starting there?
All these re-used assets in these ff- games means they aren't costing a ton to produce compared the the first ff13 so why are they still charging so much?

This reminds me of the GameCubes Gmeboy Advance integration. In some game like Zelda Windwaker you could find secrets by having a GBA hook to the system. I'd have my brother play along with me to find hidden sea treasure an whatnot.
MotorStorm was a true showcase of what HD gaming meant. When I got my PS3 it was the best looking game I had ever played so I have absolutely no doubt that DriveClub will be a great launch title to show what the PS4 can do.

You're freakin crazy! When DriveClub was unveiled back in Feb I planned on getting this as my launch title. It looked amazing and the social aspect of basically driving in a clan is way cooler than the games you mention. Knowing this is coming from well known and highly respected car game devs helps a lot too.
Sony deciding to "give it away" has made people like you start to think less of it but to me it is definitely worthy of the "system seller" tit...
This games looks like it's practically on rails (think time crisis or that harry potter kinect game). No fully but somewhat forced direction. I'm not a fan on having such little control in my video games :/
It does look nice though, the graphics and the gore if you're into gore. Would've been cool if this game had the license of the last season of Sparticus. With all its gory, 300-style, attacking and fight scenes.

The articles criticisms are completely valid. Games are supposed to be fun and interactive. The way he describes it there's little substance to this title.

That's not expected at all actually. With remote play an all you'd think PS Vita as a controller would work automatically, at the very least with the games that already support remote play.
Not sure why anyone would want to though, aside from not having to purchase an additional controller, the DS4 is supposed to be a great improvement so I'm sure it would be the most comfortable way to play PS4 games.

It's like they shaved the top curvy part off the original PS3 when you look at the horizontal comparison shots.
Would've preferred a comparison to the first slim model but whatevs, it looks great, it's small, there's tons of vents to keep it well ventilated not to mention it using a low amount of power to begin with for what it's capable of as well continuing to not have a power brick.

There was a mod to make the Unreal Tournament 3 into Gears of War. Third person view with skins. Mods were pretty cool but no other dev allowed it because they wanted to sell DLC. All those SFIV costumes wouldn't of sold at all for example had Capcom allowed it.
In the story of this case it's more like a way for indie devs to update their games without calling it a patch. Cool if they add some nice stuff. Basically free DLC.
Is this game selling day 1 digital for the PS3 version? I initially assumed it was simply because the Vita version is going to be on the store but I hope the PS3 version is there on/before aug 6th too. (before for pre-order download).
I've got money in my psn wallet and want to share this with my brother so I'll be pretty upset if the digital PS3 version isn't on the store, especially with aug 6th being a tuesday, the day psn store gets updated.
