The point isn't "buying a console to watch netflix", it's more along the lines of. "Why does this multimedia device (360/XOne) charge me a subscription fee to use a service that's free to access on other multimedia devices?"
MS tries to inflate the "value" of Xbox Live Gold by packing in things that are free everywhere else. What about people that don't like to play games online? People that just enjoy single player games an like...
Correct, but it's actually the developers choice. Not sure why they'd choose to restrict it to PS+ members though, not unless Sony charges them for making it that way or something. Doubt it though s yeah, Free-to-play = FREE-to-play on the PS4.
Most beautiful?
Hardly
The author also, obviously, has a fetish for The Amazon. She's featured in or the sole character in 15+ out of the 20.
Geez, I wish I could make my own dynamic theme an just use all of these transitioning every few seconds. A lot of them are amazing, lots of creativity. Definitely using a few as backgrounds on my PS3.
Yeah, if you're not into rap I guess this would be a huge turn off, even though you could just turn off the radio/soundtrack. Probably even play your own.
On disc, pre thought out and created before launch DLC is the absolute worse. I can put up with a lot but knowing that content was held back from my $60 purchase just so they could charge me an extra $5-$15 or whatever for it is the biggest negative about this online gaming connected generation.
Naughty Dog and many others already do this. Having hug resolutions/assets that get scaled down. These guys are playing catch up an boasting like they're ahead. Fish AI all over again, they just don't know how to promote this CoD properly.
Same here, I'm still buying a PS4 at launch though. I'm going to be one of the few that buys no games. I'm gonna play the PS+ and free-2-play titles for a while though I might upgrade DriveClub if it's as good as I hope an initially expected it to be.
Ni no is like $20 already, what are you waiting for? lol
Terrible idea at a consoles launch, you end up loosing lots of sales to resellers on ebay an such. All that extra money those ebay buyers spend on getting the console could have been spent on buying more games and accessories too so they'd be losing out in that aspect as well.
Proper advertising, glorifying the must-have features, having a quality product that owners praise are all better ways to raise demand.
LMAO @ the 3D thing at the end. When he said no...
LMAO!
Don't let MS/Apple or any other bs corporation fool you, these batteries don't just up an kill over every two years. I have an original six axis ps3 controller from 2007 that's still charges and holds a charge just fine.
You think you're paying for convenience but really you're just paying for high priced accessories (play and charge kit).
If they were really looking out for you it would come with high quality rechargeable b...
Just gets better and better. Winning gold in PvP that you can then spend in the main story? Yes please, an thank you!
Tales is single player so I'm gonna hold out on that purchase, it's gonna be all Dragon's Crown for me.
As I recall ND had some in-depth video relating to The Last of Us showing their engine doing its facial capture thing and the faces alone of the character models they use start off in the millions of polygons and are then scaled down to work on the PS3. With the PS4 they simply just have less down-scaling to do.
So yeah, I'm not worried either. They already have a great engine so it'd faster to just tweek it. Just means we'll see a ND game release on the PS4 fast...
It might come out at the end of next year, they said it'll be playable at TGS after all.
That's the most realistic looking in-game fire that I've ever seen... well, since sonys feb event where they first showed it.
It should be a built-in feature so you wouldn't really notice a "cost". It would just be another noted feature on a box when you make a purchase. Would be very useful for handheld gaming consoles, phones, tablet and any other mobile device though.
At home people should be smart enough to just close the blinds or not have their tv facing the sun.
You're missing out but I believe you're right about the price drop, been seeing a lot of quick price drops this year. I'm thinking down to $39.99 in maybe 3-4 months though, not $29.99
Many of the games that have gone down fast were the ones that didn't meet their sales expectations. This game will not have that problem. Their expectations are much lower than "AAA titles".
It is niche but it they also only spent about 1 million dollar making it. It's already sold around 180k (ps3 and vita combined) in japan, not counting its digital sales. It's already sold enough to be profitable so the idea of it "selling well' has already passed. Every sale it gets in the U.S. and later in Europe is just adding to their pocket books.
It has already "Sold Well" and it's not even out in the U.S. yet. This is the luxury of being a...
What's up with the title on this article?
Did I miss MS saying that they're "including" the headset now?
The link just says Xbox One headset, not "Included" headset.
I read a lot of the news on here but maybe I missed that reversal :/
