I think the Kinect is an $80 value paired with a $350 console. MS is definitely going to be making money off each unit sold from the start. If sales aren't up to par expect a quick price cut about a year or less after launch.
Just cuz the case "looks cool" doesn't mean it's worth more money. Sonys camera has two lenses in it allowing for 3D pictures yet it's being sold for $60 and seeing as it's being sold separately Sony is DEFINITELY selling i...
I read from one of you guys that you have to re-sync your 360 controllers whenever the battery dies, is this true?
Is that going to be the case for the X1 as well?
I really don't get why people support it not having an internal, rechargeable battery. Everything about that seems really inconvenient.
When my PS3 controllers power gets low I just grab the usb cable an keep going or grab my other controller an let the dying one charge. Takes all of 3 ...
The "final" showdown will be after we consumers and the gaming public and sites get these consoles in our hands. The lens of truth will dissect the games but personal accounts will exist then too. Once they're in our hands nothing can be hidden.
He was in MS corner this time but we've seen IGN back Sony too. It just depends on who from IGN you're talking to. It was pretty lame though and a great point, no Kinect game shown thus far has made use of the upgraded features. No one getting a true hands on with the real system is a big thing too and a lot of trust can be gained if they prove themselves in that way. No one wants to be fooled an lied to.
I'm excited for the free-to-play games on PS4 this year an...
Mircosoft WANTS you to play online more than Sony. They focus heavily on the online aspects of their games to get more people resubscribing to XBL Gold. Single player/story mode ends up suffering a lot this gen because of this way of thinking, that's why MS and COD go hand-in-hand. Just like MS the CoD games want you invested in their online community so they can sell you their DLC maps and add-ons.
Either way, if you do anything too often you'll eventually get bored ...
You're basically talking about getting a brand new Vita for $100, it's not going to happen. Sony is willing to take a loss on consoles and even handhelds if they can make it up by selling you software but in the case of such a bundle you might not ever buy any Vita software.
Many who might would be interested in such a bundle might only use the Vita for remote play, never buying any Vita games. Add to that the almost necessary inclusion of PS+ and the free Vita games ...
Maybe for $550-$600 but $500 seems extremely unlikely to me too.
Lol, wow you're way off base and even when it was explained to you you're still trying to act like you're correct. Just admit that you weren't paying attention or didn't watch the video and move on. The topic was and is about video sharing not the share plan. The video mentions nothing about the share plan/home gold / whatever.
On a side note, Sony has been completely clear about their sharing plan already. People are always going back looking for reiterat...
Pacher doesn't know what remote play is, period.
A $200 PS3 would be cool though, you could spend that extra $60-$70 on a HDD that's way bigger than 500Gb, you could get a 1Tb-2Tb drive instead.
I don't agree with that, why would Vita games look bad on a big screen? You've seen videos like reviews and trailers of Vita games on the big screen right? Even the enormous screen at E3 show Vita games and they still look good. Why would it be a problem?
My point and his point were that we want to play some of the Vitas games, they aren't all on consoles, but we don't want to necessarily play them on the small Vita screen OR we know they'll eventually rel...
$20?
Terraria has never even been $20 on psn (don't know about the 360 version), it started at $15 but either way Steam and PC games in general are always cheaper than console games. Unfair comparison, that's why XBL and PSN are the main comparisons here and Wii could join in too if anyone cares to argue its side though it has no premium service which is the point of this article.
Steam still doesn't give away free retail games like PSN anyway.
The PS4 is region free, just buy an import.
The added shipping cost would probably still be cheaper than buying it in your home country.
You can still use you euro account, only thing you'd need is a power converter.
That's fanceh, I feel more sophisticated already!
Seriously, I can imagine having this play in the background when I invite over company or something. Maybe try some of this out as a couple workout.
This article is pretty much trash, PS+ is AMAZING but the reasons given and the way this article was written is just terrible.
Instant gaming collection is the number 1 best reason to pay for PS+, everyone knows that.
When the PS4 launches people will pay for it to gain online multiplayer access in games (that aren't free-to-play) but the IGC will still be there too as an added bonus. While being an added bonus for some it can also be a main draw for others (peopl...
This rumor isn't going to happen. Sony wants to sell its digital content, 12Gbs is extremely restrictive.
It's just not going to happen in North America. We're a lot more likely to see another 120Gb/300Gb model for $220 or something like that.
Bigger HDD are needed for PS+ too and that's another selling point, 12Gb models were outdated before they were ever released. I highly doubt we'll see them out here.
There are tons of games that only release on the portable devices, games some of us would like to play on a big screen. You act like they're all ports or something :/
Besides that it's convenient for when you're at home and still want to play your portable games. Why not be able to play it on a big screen in those cases?
Also in line with the above example; Portables are portable so you can bring them along with you on trips a lot easier than a c...
Agreed, I watched it at E3 an had no clue it would be so diverse. They completely undersold it lol
This is pretty cool, looks really fun too and it's free?
Color me impressed.
The creations showcased in the above video all look like psn/xbox live arcade titles that we'd pay money for an now they can be made with simple tools and shared with friends. Something like this might devalue the perception of an indie title though. Make you have second thoughts about purchases if they can be recreated in Project Spark.
You're really gonna buy Ryse?
I like the gore somewhat but the gameplay looks lame and it gives me that short game-length feeling like it might be a 5 hour campaign full of quick-time-events.
It's the least interesting looking title coming to the X1, it just has nice graphics. I need substance and they haven't shown much of any yet.
I'd compare it to Knack for Sonys exclusives but then at least Knack was meant as a family ga...
