It has a huge fan that spins slower allowing it to be ultra quiet. A small fan spinning at really high speeds causes a much louder noise. This was actually discussed like 2 months ago. On top of that all games are fully installed to the HDD on the X1 so it spins disc a lot less often as well so less sound from that too.
When it was first discussed everyone was surprised with how quiet it was.
Ryse looks like trash to me, I really don't understand the hype.

You can play any ps1 games on any ps3 already so the first tenchu is already available if you have it. I own it myself, was really fun back in the day.
The PS4 records the "LAST 15 MINUTES". That means it's ALWAYS RECORDING and has a history that goes back 15 minutes.
If your intention is to record yourself playing from the start you can continuously record until your HDD runs out of space.
Again, the 15 minute thing is a history, it'll always have the last 15 minutes of game time recorded for you whether you set it to record or not.

Only the people that pre-ordered, not everyone in those countries. Read the fine print. Still a good deal considering those that pre-ordered were the ones that wanted it the most anyways. They deserve something for being so loyal after MS basically lied to them. The "lie" = saying that they'd launch in 21 markets.
I say single player games can wait, games that have no multiplayer or have a multiplayer aspect that you have no interest in.
I've seen tons of 2 to 4 month price drops in the last year or two. The only real reason to get a game day one is so you aren't too far behind your friends on the multiplayer. Some multiplayer communities are all but dead if you wait a whole year to pick up the game.
