Gaikai is definitely a possible future, it all has a reliance on your internet setup though.
Theoretically, Gaikai could release exclusive games that are above the technical specs of the PS4. This would mean you could play future games without ever buying a new console. If your connection is good enough you could play PC games, streamed through Gaikai, that never released on a PS system or high-end PC versions of games with more options turned up.

PS3Eye gave out EyeCreate on the PS3. It wasn't a game but it did let you do some low-level camera editing.
I remember some green screen sort of thing that was possible too but I never found it or how to use it.

That's completely untrue, a system can definitely be %50 faster. In the case of the PS4, the time spent on getting a game up and running on the system is 50% faster than it is to do the same on the X1.
The PS4 is also more powerful but saying "by 50%" makes no sense without a test or some sort of proof that gauges their power. How do we fully classify "power"? There are many aspects, all I know is the PS4 is outclassing the X1 and the number designatin...
That's actually awesome, I wish more DLC would do this. I hate feeling like I've wasted my money because I didn't know about everything involved in a purchase.

I wasn't surprised by not hearing one person chose the Xbox but all those saying neither shows that Sony made the right choice in focusing their launch elsewhere.

I'm glad to hear this, I'm waiting for the PS4 version, though I might dive in to the digital PS3 version sense upgrading to the PS4 will be free of charge. By the time it comes out on PS4 it might be cheaper than the current $40 price tag though so waiting is also a good idea.
It's nice to hear it'll look as good as the high-end PC version, there was never a guarantee that it would.

If anything people were complaining about the cost of paying for a projector to create the illumiroom. MS seems to have agreed as they scrapped the idea.

Also, doesn't the 360 have an issue with running poorly if you install disc 2? As in the devs suggest that you only install disc one. Meanwhile on PS3... one disc.

These look good, some stuff even photo realistic O.O but other Infamous SS pictures have been better. The reflections and waves of the water look really nice here in that pond or whatever but that picture from before with those wet streets with puddles and neon lights above blows these out the water.

I get the relief that it's locked at 30fps, it's just those guys that are praising 30fps as if it were something we haven't been use to that need to stop.
Most current gen games are locked at 30fps, the really heavy action games are the ones that fall below 30/have an unstable 30fps.

Come on, they obviously had to hunt down and kill all the other guardians before this game could be released so it would make sense. It just took longer than they expected.

You're a HUGE hypocrite, Killer Instincts model is garbage and you know it. 8 characters in a fighting game? 720p at that so not only is it lazily made but designed to milk as well. Holding characters back outside that initial bulk purchase ability just so they can charge more, outside that bulk purchase, for the cooler characters later.

PSN is matched with the retail prices most of the time. I recently noticed Ni No Kuni drop to $19.99 at walmart and I checked the digital version on PSN and it was dropped to $20 as well.
I'm not sure about every game (obviously) but that one was very noticeable because of how cheap it is already.
