Killzone SF looks like a beast and you'd have to be a huge fanboy to think otherwise. It's like the prom queen of next gen launch titles.
If someone thinks another launch title looks better please post pictures. Not only would I like proof I just like to see great/amazing looking games in general.
Wasn't it JokesOnYou that constantly quoted that 150k polygon count? I'm mean to an obnoxious level?
He might've stopped a week or two ago but that's how I remember the guy.
Lol @ disagrees, here's me an him arguing over Ryse

I want a HIGHER polygon count AS WELL AS a high or stable frame rate, lol. For reference, see "Deep Down". Though, to be fair, closed/smaller environments allow for much higher quality character models. I'm sure Infamous is pushing boundaries for an open world environment though.
85k isn't bad but I was never all that impressed with Marius to begin with. With Uncharted 3 having 40k models, 85k for next gen games just isn't the jump I was expecting. I kne...
GTFO here Starchild
Did you really just compare the current cost of your gaming PC with the launch day cost of the PS3? How is does that comparison even make sense to the average, non-time traveler?
Either you compare your currently $700 pc to the current $200 PS3 (or $400 PS4) or you compare your $1500 PC in 2006 to the $500 PS3 in 2006.
No one is about to wait 7 years just to pay for dated tech that looks good but still cost more than a bra...
"Sony seems to have a lot of these regions in the bag."
Sony has the world in the bag, I don't see MS out selling them in any region unless Sony isn't in that region while MS is for some reason. Don't see that happening though.
Not a bad launch date, made it in 2013 an just under a full month after the U.S. launch. Sony's really got their stuff together this coming gen.
*Cue 50 Cent - Patiently Waiting ft. Eminem* ...
It's not just the games but the quality of the games themselves. The launch titles making up the PS3 and 360 were glitch infested, low quality and slow. Many techniques were learned this gen to get them to not only run better on a technical level but push them to look better and be smarter as well.
With the PS4 and X1 the power is already unlocked, they'll learn more tricks along the way but I doubt anyone will look back at first gen PS4 and X1 games with laughter, a...
That's siiiiick
The Crew looks pretty good, I'm thinking it's like The Fast and The Furious with its strong emphasis on customizing the car to get an illegal job done.
Gta minus the car stealing/getting out of your car?
It looks really fun either way.
@ aiBreeze
That "support" you describe is just games and in my eyes all they did was hold those games hostage by making them exclusives. Things like that can make people resentful. The new games were a different story but they took some well known game franchises and made them only playable on their console. I'd say Blue Dragon and Tales of Vesperia pi22ed people off.
I'm not sure what type of support they could really offer. Features that ...
Yeah I know there's a loyalty factor that's really strong in Japan. Part of it is buying their own products to help their own economy but I still can't imagine the X1 selling less than the 360. But it may just be that I've never been a fan of the 360, it's always been a terrible device IMO. I think the X1 is weak but it's not as bad as the 360 so I feel like it'll do better in Japan.
On the other hand I think the X1 will sell waaaaaay worse in the...
LOL, In all honesty I think they should just give up Japan and focus their time, money and attention else where. I doubt it's even worth the cost even if they sold 3 million X1s in Japan.
It seems like a wasted effort.
1.5 million 360s sold, lol. A good percentage of those were probably foreigners/americans specifically that happen to live in Japan. Overseas troops even.
LOL, Maybe I should reconsider my first thoughts/comment.
I think the X1 will do much better in Japan than the 360 did. The device itself is just better quality overall. The 360 had issues from the start, it didn't have a HDD standardn and its outdated dvd drive was outdated for HD gameplay given that situation. The launch models didn't even have wireless internet integrated which was ridiculous, even by 2005 standards. It was a bad combination over all.
The X1 is an all new device in comparison to all the 360 shortcomings. ...

Xbox One =/= PlayStation 3
*PS3 came off the success of the PS2 (150million sold, 360 is at 80 mil, ignoring rrod repurchases)
*PS3 was also the cheapest bluray player you could find at release as well as being the most feature packed/multi-functional. X1 has no standout ability such as that.
*PS3 had a large number of first party dev teams pushing lots of noteworthy exclusives that helped it chug along till ...
I wonder if there's any chance of them making a PS4 version of Soul Sacrifice. This type of game is right up my alley but I'm not a fan of handhelds as I have no use for them. I'll be picking this up once Vita Tv launches in the U.S. though.
LMAO
I can't believe these numbers, guess gamers have been waiting for a while and by limiting the preview frequency they were able to sell during peak anticipation.
Selling anywhere near this high on the heels of next gens launch is also insane.
That's true about a million things though.
If it taste good, it's sterile/clean and doesn't kill me I don't really care how they filled my stomach.
I'm not gonna eat crappy tasting food just because it doesn't have fillers.
KFC > Store brand fried chicken

"Alpha code" shots, just one of the many tactics of a fanboy :/
Side note: You can own every system on the planet and still be a fanboy. Having a strong preference for something to the point of ignoring all its shortcomings and valid criticisms is a sure sign.
Despite it being alpha code, DriveClub still looks good. Forza looks good too. They're both doing different things and neither one is perfect at this point. Driveclub has jaggies and Forza has fake...
LOL yeah I screwed up on that but what about the actual suggestion of selling the licenses to use Phanta Rei or however it's spelled?
Do people disasgree with that idea as well or were you all too focused on the lord of shadows mistake?
Well YEAH, you get super powers in infamous and get to climb, zip and hover all around the city. Have you seen the latest footage? Delsin speed of movement and attack range makes the scope of battles huge and extremely dynamic. I was blown away.
Open world games are fun but when you have super powers going around doing whatever you want just becomes a lot more fun.
I think the comparison is in it being a launch title or more specifically a flagship launch title exclusive.
