It's almost like it's no longer "cell-shaded". It doesn't have the same cartoon look in the new one. It looks great but they definitely dialed down the super bright/vibrant colors with a more natural tone.
I really like it, if/when I get a Wii-U I'll definitely be picking this up.

This is incorrect, you don't need PS+ ($50 a year btw) to play the F2P games on the PS4, you can even play their online multiplayer without having to pay for PS+.
They are completely free to play. In fact the PS3 currently has a number of free to play games out already:
Uncharted 3s multiplayer
Dead or Alive
Tekken
DC Universe online
Dust 514
Free Realms
and a few others

Yes, this exactly but they have also added some detail as well. It wasn't just raised in resolution. When you look at things like the ship or even dungeon walls you can clearly see more detail in some of the designs.

EXACTLY! It's not the power difference that really sways us to prefer the PS4 over the Xbox One. There are TONS of other valid reasons.

If we wanted to play games on PC we would be doing that already. I don't get why people constantly make this suggestion, as if a PC were just another console or something, IT'S NOT.
Console are bought for their ease of use as well as their price, not just price alone. Of course a gaming pc is more flexible in its capabilities but it comes with a headache as well.
Building your own can save you money but if you don't know how than that's a lot ...

It sucks to see them going down that road but it's hard to even care after knowing how much content is in the game. It's already proven itself to be more worth my $60 than a lot of other titles. I don't buy DLC anyway, especially the small stuff like guns.

Sony has a LOT more exclusives, whether they be full, PS or PS and PC there are a tons of games coming to the PS4.

Either way game rentals hurt console makers, that why MS was trying to get rid of rentals that they wouldn't see a profit from.
Yeah the bottlenecks argument... well it simply doesn't exist. The PS4 was designs specific with ease of use for the developers in mind. It's the main reason devs keep praising hw fast they're getting their games up and running on the hardware so quickly.
It was designed "not to have any (significant) bottlenecks", and we've yet to hear any big complaints from devs about the hardware itself.
