call of duty will continue to be the go to sheep game, its popular... so it must be better! while battlefield will be the superior game by far, would be nice for it to be the main go to fps though!

My judgement i sbased off of following the franchise from gears 1 till gears 3 and not caring for judgement at all, it just feels done to me! i hope gears 4 revives the series though

Each to their own i guess. chances are we are all at one point a playstation gamer ps1, ps2 etc... chances are most of us also switched to xbox 360 at the launch of the ps3! I know i did, but also, alot of us went back to ps3 toward the end of that consoles gen and stuck with sony with ps4. Final Fantasy XV impressed me massively, but they are already looking like they have to tone it down quite a bit on consoles and just rely on the extra horse power of the pc for a definitive version "when its released, which it will lol"... gears of war in general... is bullshit! Game was fresh when gears 1 came, gears 2 was great and gears 3 was the game perfected... it set a massive trend last gen, and so many games copied the blueprint! Since Gears 3, ive had little to no interest in this franchise, gears of war 4 would need to have insane graphics and performance to even tempt me back to it now, as i know the gameplay aspects will be largely more of the same.
Awesome, for the price it is selling at, im not surprised! Now all we need is crash bandicoot or jak and daxter to return, and PS4 is up there with the PS2 in terms of one of the top console sof all time imo! Jrpg lineup looks strong, continued support from naughty dog and other exclusive devs.... from start to now and likely till the finish PS4 is a beast

i hope its not another alan wake! By that i mean we were all wowed by it in 1992, and when it finally came in 2008 "or whenever it came" it wasnt as impressive and was showing its age! Was still an awesome game, but those wow factor elements had been beaten by other games by that point!

So wait.... £300 every 3 years, thats if you buy launch, how dare we consider waiting to buy....then it'd be even less time between purchases, or you get that feeling of missing out if you dont buy at launch. Plus more expensive games, plus... PS Plus as mandatory for online gaming... combined with the knowledge that its performance is highly optimized at the expense of graphical quality, FPS, resolution etc as times move forward... essentially holding back the possibilities for all ...
