Don't put Rockstar in the same league as others. Their stupid focus on online is one thing but on a technical level, they are still one of the best. RDR2 is still one of the best looking games and the most detailed game by far.
But that ending though with amazing music. The Man who sold the world.

RDR2 at 44 million in 3.5 years is no joke.
To put it in perspective, Witcher 3 has sold 40 million including all it's DLC, it is available on one more platform (Switch) and it was released 3 years prior to RDR2.

This is still my most anticipated game this year. If any game has a chance at taking goty from Elden Ring, it's this game.

That will restrict the games to 60fps only. My Sony TV support 4k 120fps so a locked in game mode is not an issue for me as I was already using game mode.
The issue is not that severe in Sony TVs. Yes you are forced to use the game mode and can't change it but you can change other settings inside game mode as before.
You do realise these are worldwide figures right!
I have platinumed the game on ps5. I literally encountered 0 crashes and no game breaking bug for any of the quests. Minor visual bugs/pop-in aside, current gen versions are really good and stable.
RDR2 still consistently in top 10 is no small feat.

Exactly. You may give a lower review score because of how much this game has been milked but to say that it has been overshadowed as a open world game is pure stupid. The only game with a more alive world than GtaV is RDR2.
Nope. Elden ring sold more on PS also.
I still prefer Santa Monica's engine as the best Sony first party engine. Very closely followed by Naughty Dog and then Decima close behind.
