Exactly. If any game has raised the bar of "Open World", it's RDR2. Many games can be better subjectively but the world itself is incomparable.
Rockstar is still my favourite developer and I'm sure Gta6 will be GOAT.
I think people are forgetting the patent that Rockstar filed earlier for advanced traffic and navigation system. I think it will be implemented in Gta VI.
Even after including Tekken Tag, they have less titles compared to all MK and SF games.
Given the volume of games released, I would say Tekken has sold the best.

This is the only racing game which received Goty awards and not just 1 but 50. FH5 is nothing short of amazing.

While Sony doesn't have 96+ metascore game other than UC2, they are much more consistent in releasing 90+ metascore games than Nintendo.
Individual studio wise Rockstar beats any other studio though in releasing 95-96+ meta games.
Opencritic only has 63 reviews compared to 180+ of BOTW. Its final score and position will be lower than BOTW.
RDR2 is easily their best game. A personal second favourite would be GtaIV for me.
This is why I admire SSM more. Even their PC port of GoW 2018 was flawless.
I doubt that. LoZ has never won maximum GOTYs except for OOT and BoTW. Only twice in such a long series and these 2 entries reinvented the genre. TOTK is just an evolution just like SMG2 was after SMG. That is why SMG2 lost miserably against RDR and ME2 even though it was rated higher with a 97 meta.

I don't think any game will beat Elden Ring goty record anytime soon. It now has 100+ awards lead over previous record holder TLOU 2. This is just insane.
RDR2 at 50 million in one generation is just insane.
Yeah, the graphics don't look as good as RE Village for some reason. I was expecting it to look better than Village easily but I guess I was expecting more.
