I am sure God of War would have generated much more than $500 million.
This will go down as one of the biggest failures in gaming history.
They already gave it to Half Life
@cartoonx1 are you crazy? Gta5 ran fine on ps3. I completed the game without any issues and I am sure a lot of people did. They didn't get 97 meta on ps3 for nothing.
Rockstar is leagues ahead in this. Forget RDR2, even GTA V is way better than this.
Exactly. Forget RDR2, even Gta 5 npc and world simulation is way better than this. Atleast NPCs react to your presence in Gta5. And RDR2 is on whole other level.
They look really really bad.
Same for Rockstar as well. They have one 98 and three 97 games.
95+ is for Rockstar
There is simply no excuse for console versions. MGSV also launched on PS3/Xbox360 and it ran way way better than how Cyberpunk is running on PS4/XboxOne.
Yeah it's no excuse. If RDR2 can run fine on base consoles, then so should Cyberpunk.
Metacritic 91. I think they have met the expectations more or less.
I'll correct the statement. "Call of duty is biggest selling game of the year, every year. Except when Rockstar releases a game".
Just fix your damn engine
Is is getting $1 million per day now? We got 329 million article just 2 days ago. Scam of the decade.
Exactly. Nov-Nov eligibility period is literally the stupidest decision any award show has ever taken. With many AAA games coming at the end of the year, it changes the balance of competition completely.
@roadkillers, what are you talking about? Sekiro was one of the highest rated games of last year. GoT is nowhere near that. As much fan love as it has got, it still doesn't change the fact that winners are chosen by critics. The same critics that have given it 83 where all the other nominees are over/near 90.
If you know anything about TGA, you will not count on GoT to win GOTY. It is not happening whether you like it or not. They are just going to give it to TLou2.
So Half Life Alyx gets nominated for all major categories but not GOTY. Just because it's a VR game. Such nonsense.
IGN, GamesRadar, Polygon, Eurogamer and Destructoid, all have given their Goty to Hades.
I have never seen an indie title win Goty from so many big critics against a top tier AAA game.
