I literally just got back from FRYS where I bought (charged) a T500rs. I've only played for about an hour and installed the increased resistance break pedal mod and I have to say that although easily superior to a controller it's a bit underwhelming considering it was $612 after tax. That's just insane to me. Played with Project Cars and Asseto Corsa - no assists.
Probably because it teases a concept for a product that is no longer in development. So business and politics as always screwing general sensibility and suavity.
Sound logic feels so good; it's like porn to me. There I go making things awkward again.
These 20,000 young men in the study average only two hours of porn watching a week? Finally I'm doing something above average in life.I've never wished I was watching porn instead of seeing a girl, as I was seeing a girl -- wtf? That sounds like a very specific issue. And gaming 15 hours a day is insane by any standard. Unless we're talking The Witcher 3. ;)
The biggest "threat" I can foresee, is the potential for developing 'porn-induced erectile dy...
200cc is hard.
Because selling a year old card for $350 - $450 and buying the absolute latest one for the $200 - $300 difference feels better than waiting another 1 - 2 years and spending full $500 - $700 on the latest at that time.
I'm citing links where they have thoroughly tested 4k gaming performance. You are just saying you've had an experience but provide no proof that you need 12GB of Vram. And what exactly is your experience? That somehow your copy of Crysis 3 requires 12GB of Vram? The links I shared clearly show that Crysis 3 at 4k at most uses 3.6GB of Vram.
Where is your evidence? You haven't succeeded in countering my argument that a Titan X is not powerful enough to game at 4k a...
I don't know why you're using Crysis 3 as an example for high Vram usage. Even at 4k, at most it uses just under 4GB of vram with 4xMSAA as shown here: http://www.digitalstormonli...
Even then, no single card can run it at 60fps. So future proofing, if 4k and 60fps is the goal, isn't even an option right now unless you go SLI or Crossf...
No way. 3- 4 GB is completely safe right now for 1080p. 4 -6GB is a nice sweet spot for 1440p gaming. Even at4k, 12GB doesn't make much sense. The Titan X still isn't enough to play demanding games like Crysis 3, DA:I, AC: U maxed out at 4k 60fps. Even if it could max them out at 60fps, none of them come close to reaching 12GB of VRAM.
Tech Power Up's March 2015 review of the Titan X clearly illustrates why 12GB in the Titan X is overkill. It's out of proport...
Hopefully I can sell my 780 Ti sc for around $400. These damn cards depreciate in value so quick. I don't think the power of the Titan X justifies having 12GB of memory. Seems like just yesterday the 5970 and 580 were insane. Then the 7970 and 680 came and so on in a flash. Every time the hype and price is though the roof.
Can hardly remember the last time I played a wrestling game. Last time I think was some odd Sega Genesis title.
I'd like to work on games but I just can't bring myself to work 12 to 18+ hours a day at a computer on very highly criticized inanimate objects. I practiced 3D modeling and very basic animation using 3DS Max at home with some books for a year and realized I'd rather be on my feet dealing with real people outside in the world.
Then again, I've been lucky enough to work on films like Godzilla (2014) under a technical position which called for 18 hours days back ...
Grass and Post process settings past "High" are ruthless - they eat frames faster than Sony's Fat Princess eats cake.
Holy shit that camera work in the short video clip is unlike anything I've seen in any medium. It's so visceral. It has been slow to start, but I knew "next-gen" had some tricks up its sleeve!
I agreed because that's true, but regarding these screens, something is off. It must be something else like the assets themselves being too low res so even when not zoomed in, aliasing is visible.
Frame rate does not affect graphical fidelity; graphical fidelity affects frame rate. What I was pointing out is that given a resolution as high as these images claim to be, there would be no discernible edge aliasing. Even at 4k all but the most troublesome shader aliasing remains easily visible.
Not sure what's going on behind the scenes to get these images so large but I'm doubtful they're natively rendered at these resolution, though high fidelity, they're really not all that sharp. The aliasing especially gives the fact that something else if going on here. (Viewed on my 3440x1440 display).
I haven't been this excited for a game since San Andreas was released on PS2. Sitting here waiting at my computer like a kid on Christmas. Got my college work out of the way so I can tune out and turn off with some hilarious Trevor action!
haha :P
Be patient for the Acer Predator unlike me! Once you get a 60Hz ultra wide, you get used to it and want more. If you've ever played at 144Hz, the 60Hz limitation does get to ya after the novelty of ultra wide wears thin.
Hoping that doesn't make me seem like a douche. :/
Would never argue otherwise. Just saying $600 is insane for this wheel. It's not that high of quality. A $150 - $200 wheel like the G27 will do equally well because in the end it's still just a game where you get no real sense of speed, acceleration, or depth perception.
