Thank you, you rock! The in engine stuff looks BEAUTIFUL downsampled from 4k to 1080p at 60fps! Damn I hate politics. Donating what I can, right away, for sure! You are so awesome!

This is a little annoying. Especially for those, like me, who have 120+Hz monitors. I have a GTX 780TI and thanks to the insanely high 6gb VRAM of Shadow of Mordor and now 4GB TEW, it feels considerably outdated. Ridiculous. There isn't even a 980 SKU you can buy with 6gb VRAM yet. WTF? These new "PC-like" consoles were supposed to help real PC games, but apparently optimizing from unified GDDR5 of PS4 to dedicated system/video RAM of PCs is out of the question for developers.

It was meant to be taken as just a friendly joke. I did the same thing for film school as well. I'm actually a DP and Editor. Editing some ARRI ALEXA footage as I type this.

Ahh the good ol' "It's for school work too" excuse. That's alright, we've all used it!

Halo 3 and 4 remastered are at least what they would have looked and played like had they been released on PC. They have some nerve talking about how "next gen" they look on Xbone. Think about it — Crysis 1 was the high end of PC gaming in 2007, Halo 3 would have been a relative breeze to run at 1080p/60fps. Computers now could run Halo 3 at 4k/144fps. How irritating.

Though I would agree that the differences are very subtle from 780TI SC, the rush of new hardware alone is enough to justify the ~$150 difference. Then there's the 5 - 10% performance improvement, new software/driver features like MFAA, DSR, and DirectX 11.3. The backplate is nice too. Plus I get to say I have a GTX980.

I'll buy if I can sell my 780TI SC for $450 - $400

I think it's a great shooter that's fun in short bursts with friends. Just wish it was on PC with either no or drastically reduced loading, no FXAA, higher FPS, less clicking around, ability to decode gear anywhere with a sort of Cryptarch PDA device (this is the far future, c'mon) so he still levels up, better social tools and features, better story, among a handful of other quibbles.

I will literally cry if this comes to PC with all the bells and whistles, meaning high frame rate support, very high resolution support, solid mouse integration, etc. I will cry like a baby, tears of glorious joy.

I always say just save/wait a bit longer and go for a minimum of $600. Though if you want a truly reliable, always max settings, 60fps minimum, you'll need to spend from $800 - $1200 on a custom gaming PC.

Ken Levine for the win. Anita Sarkeesian should go fly a kite.

I would have bought at full price if you could use your PC character on the PS4 version. I'm waiting to buy it for around $30 as I put too much time into the PC version to just start over entirely. Glad it's 1080p/60 and that the new controls are awesome.

Generation of the HD remakes! Can't wait for this one though!

Film recording frame rate has a completely different effect on the perception of motion and suspension of disbelief than video game rendering frame rate. Controller and mouse input responsiveness alone, in games, mean higher frame rates and quick frame render times produce a smoother, objectively superior experience during gameplay. With 144Hz/8ms monitors and PCs capable of rendering 144fps/8ms in many games, even 60fps/16ms starts to seem sluggish. If anything, for a video game made to feel...

I appreciate your effort! This is what I was looking for: http://www.gamersyde.com/do...

Thanks, but that's only 77MB. A truly HQ pro res or similar version will be at the very least, 500MB, but probably closer to 2GB.

Is there a HQ downloadable version of the trailer?

Nothing like this, where every hit dramatically change the mesh to reveal additional layers of detail/blending. https://www.youtube.com/wat...

This game looks really fun and very pretty. My only concern is how fulfilling it feels to play as either side. I imagine it feels as if the monster is invulnerable, like you're not doing any damage with no procedural aesthetic damage. Same thing when playing as the monster if, after at most, a few good hits you don't smash the tiny characters to bits, wouldn't playing as the monster feel weak and cumbersome?
