i thought Halo 3 was a good game not an amazing one, especially when you go back to the game now its a little dusty, loved Halo 1 and 2 imo those are arguably the best console shooters of all time Halo 3 minus all the robust features hasn't got allot going for it ,the level design is pretty bland you just walk through an empty world at a a snails pace fighting a handfull of enemies its supposed to be a WAR!!

The most overrated game i've played this gen was easily Mass Effect 2, seriously what was the big deal with that game ? i thought it was incredibly boring, the emphasis of shooting didn't fit imo ...
Agreed Half life 2 isnt my PERSONAL favourite game, that said its still the best game I've get played and I can understand why people praise it

i've beaten Fallout 3 something like 3-4 times i think ive put in about 200 hours in that game, i love theme, characters, story and especially the music
i find the cod stories to be politically pretentious, and incredibly far fetched, also there poorly conveyed to the gamer imo, and the characters are laughably two dimensional.
really, honestly i think it would suck lack of competition would basically mean lack of motivation to make gaming better, e.g if it wasn't being robust online service PSN still would have been in the same terrible state it was at the beginning of the generation, if it wasn't for Uncharted 2 excellant story, Epic wouldn't have stepped up to make Gears of War 3's story more compelling compared to the cheesey generic writing that plagued the 1st 2 games, those are a few examples...
Yes playstation all stars isn't original but , NEITHER IS SSB if anyone had been gaming before the 90's they would know that SSB was a complete rip off of 4 player SNK fighters with zoom in cameras etc and most notably an oldschool arcade fighter called The Outfoxies , look it up SSb was a complete clone of those games.

you know i was recently playing the older COD games and you know what they are completely different to the games now, i was playing COD 3 and it didn't feel like a rail shooter auto aim wasn't overly generous the levels were big and allowed you multiple ways of beating them instead of being stuck on a path following your team mate ai.

Resistance 3 is actually has the BEST single player i've played in an FPS this gen next to the Orange Box i loved the gritty, dark feel they brought, it was erie and haunting, Capelli was a realistic and most important SYMPATHETIC character which is saying allot in FPS terms, you really felt that all hope was lost especially in the prison level, playing it i was like damn how the hell am i gonna get out of this one.

i'll most likely get allot of disagree's for this but, honestly with the exception of Resident Evil 2 and 4 i've always thought Resident Evil games were horrible, they were poorly designed, clunky controls ,horrible stories, ridiculous set up's and again poorly designed e.g inventory system that alone is the poster boy for ridiculous un comprehensible game design.

those are all 3rd party ? Nintendo didn't make them ,and looking back none of those games sell enough to warrant a sequel let alone an established franchise. Why do you think most of them never usually see a US release (operation rainfall lol)
