again like the 360 version, these aren't secrets we've known about these for the most part.
Especially on the 1st point there have been countless articles addressing the ps3's lack of BC so many of them.
These aren't secrets there just topics that people don't care about no more.
i wouldn't really call these secrets, because we've known all of this for over a years now.
e.g. for over 2years we've known that XBL is a closed network,
we've known for 5 years now that the 360 has a high failure rate. we've known that the 360 lacks 1st party studios.

oh jesus christ, this pirating issue is completely overblown, the ps3 isn't "doomed" the fact that the 360 and wii were hackable from day 1 and are still standing strong is just another testament to how minor pirating in consoles really is, and even if it wasn't where to far into the PS3's lifespan for it to make a dent.

well then again games are more expensive than movies, but overall i agree our standards are either way to high, or we use inaccurate, inconsistent websites like Metacritic as a way of telling us what a great game is, Metacritic told me GTA4 is the best game i can possibly play, to me it was a 7 at most

regarding piracy on the PS1 there is no way of knowing how many PSONE's were pirated, and even if there was i doubt the large percentage of 100 million PSONE owners pirated, the reality is as far as consoles go piracy is pretty minor in comparison to the pc , this whole PS3 hack has been WIDLEY overblown imo
this is great to hear, but sony should have done this months ago, why did they wait for some bored loser to finally hack it. especially if that same guy has been attempting to hack it for years now, and at one point almost did, he should have sued for that reason alone.

true but to each his own, i love the wii but i dislike the wii mote, imo its a different way of playing games not a better way of playing games, the best game on the wii and arguably this gen is SMG2 does the wiimote honestly give it that edge in terms of control ? not really cus imo smg2 can work just as well on a simple controller.
Microsoft would rather spend there money on timed exclusivity and casual Kinect shovel ware wii clone garbage.
