agreed, i've also noticed a lack of ambition and inspiration in games this gen , i mean you look at last gen you had TONS of games like shenmue, shadow of the colossus, gta san andreas, just look at how huge , epic and vast these games were on consoles with suchl limited capacity, then you look at our current console with hardrives , powerful graphic chips etc yet very few games in this scale are found

i admit im not the biggest fan on COD but hating on it is getting really boring now everyday since W@W which was 3 years ago , ive heard nothing but botching on the franchise and thats every day.
Im tiered of hearing the same stale excuses over and over again, because regardless the series still sells by the millions every day, we've establ;ished that cod has campers, killstreaks are bullshit and the lag/hit detection is a joke but who cares if people still buy it.

So every ps3 owner which accounts to about 50 million gamers are rabid fanboys ? Just because a couple thousand fanboys hype a game doesn't mean 50 million users are gonna buy it and besides the couple thousand irrelevant fanboys who hyped the game probably ended up buying the game

Doesn't stop people from calling cod milked, seriously this series is becoming rinsed , I understand why people enjoy them but how can you argue against that?
im not the biggest gears fan but 3 is definatley my least favourite not because its inferior because its not i consider it to be the best but its not my PERSONAL favourite, i loved the dark gritty hellish chaotic feel of the 1st two games you really felt like humanity was on the brink extinction.
However i can see why people prefer gears of war 3 especially on a gameplay standpoint seeing as its the most refined in the series.
i know this is tad off topic but im seriously looking forward to resistance 3 after playing the beta , honestly its probably the best beta i've been in this year much better than KZ3 , the only thing its missing from being a flawless MP is veichals and ugc

This game really isn't for you and I can't recommend it to anyone that hasn't played or isn't to big on the franchise , however MOTY you can at least acknowledge MGS4 as a great game even if it's not to your taste which is why I agreed with your comment
exclusives should only matter if your a delusional fanboy , personally i'm not a big fan of ps3 exclusives despite how much the fanboy's ramble on and on about them i could only ever love MGS4 , LBP and Uncharted the rest are come and go experiences
movie games are never good there have been a few exceptions Goldeneye, The warriors and Spiderman 2 that game was amazing other than that they all tend to suck
